You want to start taking multi vits a couple of weeks before your op, you take them as your body doesnt get all the nutrients and vitamins it needs as your diet we limited after your op, my hair started to fall out a couple of months after my op.. glad to say its back to normal now, so it is wise to take them x

Hi shoes, i havnt been able to eat bread from day one and i seem to struggle with all meats now, i cant even eat a slice of ham lol, im not really complaining its just the band doing its job. I think i will go for another fill next month and hope that one takes me to my limit. You are doing something right so keep up the good work x

Hi mandy are you eating slowly and chewing really well? this will give you time to listen to your body and realise that your full so you dont over eat, I have been like that and not been able to bring anything back up except if its stuck, sorry i cant be anymore help x

Hi shoes i have had 4 fills and up to 6ml, i think my restriction has started to wear off a bit as i can eat a bit more for my evening meal, im still sticking to liquids in the day tho.. i think its a bit or will power aswell. good luck with yours, your weight loss so far is really good x

Hi mandy, im doing well after this last fill and pleased with how it is going, im still sticking to liquid in the day with just my slimfast for breakfast, cup a soup for lunch and small healthy tea, im not hungry inbetween and if im honest i struggle to eat all my tea. Keep with it you will get there x

The scars are small the biggest being where the port is and thats about 1 1/2 inches, dont know about sun beds, i was wonering that myself.. dont fancy putting plasters on them while on one lol. i did sit in the sun the other week when it was hot and they were fine, i only had factor 2 on x

Make sure you get the chewable mulivitamins like odgemodge said, your body in the 1st few months doesnt get everything it needs as your diet is limited, my hair started coming out but seems to have stopped now, thankgod. i just have boots own multivits, orange flavour, im trying to think if there is anything else x

Hey alex my partner was the same.. loves me what ever but he knew how i felt about my weight and had too much to lose on my own, he was worried sick while we were in belgium b4 surgery, but once i was back on the ward he was fine, you have got to do what is right for you, my scars have healed really well and fading nicely. you wont regret making the decision to have the op or that you have chosen dr chris x

Welcome to the forum alex, at least you havnt got weeks or months to get nervous about your up coming op lol, i would take nurofen melts (painkillers) dressings from boots for when you get home and you want to change them, your biggest cut will be about 1 1/2 inches, i took slimfast and cup a soups for after op at the hotel, also take loose comfy clothes and slip on shoes or trainers as you wont be able to bend down, any questions ask away. goodluck x

LOL think it is wise to listen to your hubby, if your feeling hungry just have a cup of soup to take the hunger pangs away..you are probably head hungry and wouldnt really want it if it was put in front of you lol, try and stay strong x

Hi mandy and tee-bird how are you both doing after your 1st fills? my restriction is a lot better now, i stayed on liquids till sunday afternoon, at the min im having slimfast for breakfast, cup a soup for lunch and small amount of veg for tea, i cant manage any meat at the min and struggled with salmon... grapes i cant eat at all, i tried soft egg and had to bring it back up as it was painful, happy days x

Well done bobo your weight loss is great... you 2 odgemodge and im sure the trampolining will help move the weight as well as it being fun, i was going to go on my nephews (10ft) but i was scared id go through it lol x

Welcome to the forum allan, it wont be long and you will be on here saying how well you are feeling and letting us know your great weight loss... everyone on here will help with any advice they can give, i know gary will be your 1st port of call with your current problem x
