No i dont usually get hungry in between meals and if i do i will have a dutch crisp bread with philadelphia, tomato and cucumber on. Today i have had a rosemary conley's porridge for breakfast, didnt have any lunch as i wasnt hungry and im having salmon, broccoli, carrots and sweet potato for tea (on a tea plate so its only small portions of each) im finding it harder to eat salmon now so i will enjoy it while i can, i drink plenty of fluids as well.. a lot more than i used to x x -

Hi alex a typical day for me would be.. slimfast or actimel for my breakfast, slimfast, or a cup a soup for lunch and salad, veg and salmon or pasta for my tea. I struggle with meat and the only one i can manage is quorn, i cant eat any kind of bread which isnt a bad thing. In time for your birthday you should be ok with well cooked pasta or veg.. its all trial and error. Im near on 3 1/2 stone lighter, wish it was a bit more but im more than happy with the way it is going and i know it wont be going back on :scared2: x -

Hi anitahug to begin with i only told my partner, sister and my 3 children as i didnt want people saying i was cheating or taking the easy route with weight loss.. Now i dont care who knows, it is still hard work but im so proud of my band and really pleased that i had it done, i suppose it depends on how you feel but i wouldnt tell people before as you will probably get them trying to talk you out of it or telling you horror stories about it. x -

Hi kaka, how well has your daughter done.. that is fab results. At least she wont be putting it back on like you do with diets or going to diet clubs and it may be a lot of money to pay out in 1 go but it is so worth it. Bet people spend more trying different diets and joining different clubs, at least this one works. Tell your daughter i said congratulations and keep up the good work, she will be at her target before she know's it x -

Hi sjs the injections you have are to stop your blood clotting, you have your 1st the morning after your surgery.. the nurse will show you how to do it, in the tummy. Then they give you 5 injections to bring home and you do them your self or get someone else to do them for you, i got my partner to do my 1st ones and then done a couple myself.. you cant feel anything so dont worry, im a big girls blouse when it comes to needles but i was fine with these. x -

That is about right alex, i could only manage about 1/4 cup a soup and slim fast when i 1st got banded.. i think this is why we all lose a lot of weight in the 1st weeks before it slows down a bit, glad your feeling better x -
