Hi freckles im glad you got your op date.. you havnt got long 2 wait at all..youll b busy getting your holiday things ready and going away.. b4 you no it ull b in belgium 4 your op(r u going anywher nice n hot). myself, gillian and bigsister r staying at the vilvoorde campanile, not 2 far from the hospital.. reading the forum i think a lot of bansters have stayed there x

Hi freckles its a 2 week low fat diet.. the things we put ourselves through.. i gave up smoking bwt 20 mnths ago and put on ldz ov weight.. i did sometimes think bwt smoking again just 2 c if the weight wud come bck off but i didnt my will power took over.. think you can have as much s.. as poss b4 op, hope you can anyway lol x

Hi TC im not nervous at all but i think i might be come next fri morn.. ill probly b on the loo all morn lol. i havnt put any weight on since booking.. i tried 2 be good cos i didnt want dr chris 2 think what a fat c.. now i wish i had so i cud get done early on.. iv lost 2lb so far on preop so not 2 bad. i havnt changed any money yet and im glad i havnt cos the £ is going up against the euro, it was a bit ov a risk but im glad i did. u shud email em 2 c if ther is any room.. u neva no sum1 may ov cancelled x :thumbs_up:

It is low fat diet so it shrinks the liver. Dont think i should b speaking 2 u gillian after that.. saying we are picking on you lol. i reckon we will have a gud laugh tho.. either that or b really miserable an sore lol. x

Yeh everyone has 2 do the pre op diet cos it shrinks your liver and that makes it easier for dr chris 2 operate x:smile2:

Hi TC27 how r u feeling? r u nervous yet or just cant wait 2 get it over and done with. my preop was going well till i ad a email from bridget..she said dr chris does the heavier people 1st and ops on 4 or 5 a day, im thinking bwt doing away with the diet and trying 2 put weight on so i can get done early on in the day lol. Im just not good after aving anaesthetic and the longer i have 2 recuperate the better 4 the flight home.. bet gillian an bigsister r thinking bwt doing the same lol x

LOL i dont think that will happen do you.. you will still have your stash ov goodies.. bet your case will have ldz ov wispas in it 2 go 2 belgium.. not that i havnt any faith in you lol x

OMG how bad is that.. getting a hole in your band.. did you tell them at the spire and what did they say if you did? Did you lose a lot of weight b4 it went wrong for you x

Hi freckles Welcome to the forum, hope you find all the msgs on here help you.. i have found them all a massive help and everyone very friendly.. its after reading this forum that i decided to go with dr chris.. iv read nothing but good reports about dr chris and his team. I get done next friday along with gillian and bigsister and i cant wait, its all rather exciting. Hope you get your surgery date soon.. keep us all informed with what you decide to do x

Hi gillian, 4 the parking you just need 2 put in "manchester airport parking" it will then bring all the different parking they have.. there was cheaper but you had 2 get a shuttle bus and being honest i dont really want 2 hang around waiting, have a look at the short stay multi story parking which is next 2 terminal 1.. if you book that 1 you dont even have 2 go outside 2 get 2 the terminal.. its just through a corrider and not far 4 the men 2 pull the cases lol x :wub:

Hi gillian. have you sorted your airport parking yet? i have just done mine.. at the multi storey next 2 terminal 1.. wher were flying from. its cost £29. I had a price 4 a taxi and that was £90 return.. what a rip off. even with £10 diesel its still cheaper 2 drive myself x

Hi TL im glad you said what excercise we can do after our ops, i spend my weekends hiking round the welsh coast.. i dont really want to stop doing that for a while, 2 wks i can cope wiv.. i think. i get bored doing nothing. My pre op diet going well.. its only the 3rd day but u no what its like. Hope ur 1st day back goes well x

hi everyone im on day 2 ov my pre op diet.. slim fast and cup a soups and i ad a sugar free jelly mmm luvly, my partner is also cutting back 2 so its easier on me..his idea not mine,bless him. bet he will pig out in work b4 he gets home lol, (that mcdonalds was 4 my daughter gillian) just 11 days 2 go till i get banded, yippee. Naomi j, im sure you will get through it, ur welcome 2 rant and rave on the forum im sure no one here would mind.. keep up your good work on your weight loss.. im sure its difficult 2 achieve the weight loss 4 anyone but you have got this on top.. keep your chin up your doing well x

Hi miss flump i have just seen your video on youtube and very good it was..i wouldnt be able 2 do 1 as im not that good on the comp as it is.. i no it was only head and shoulders but u really dont look big, maybe cos ur so tall u carry it better than someone like me who is a shorty.. i look 4ward 2 watching ur journey x

I told my 3 children 2day.. my son said r u and that was it(typical lad). my 2 girls asked ?s and r supportive and i was thinking my eldest wud ov been against it, i feel much better now iv told everyone who is important 2 me x
