Hi flirtylass Its good that your being careful bwt what your eating.. bet if you wasnt you wouldnt of done so well with your weight loss...you have got a great attitude with your band and i think that helps. I cant wait till i get to the day where i have lost as much as you have, my clothes are already looking big and baggy, its great. x

Hi freckles why was you advised not to have slim fast after surgery? im just wondering if i should stick to it or not.. i only have 1 a day for my lunch.. well i have 1/2 at lunch time and 1/2 bwt 4ish, then im having fish and veg for tea although i did have chilli (made with quorn) last night and it was delicious x

Hi freckles i also had a look on the WLS web site and they have no clinics near me either so i will be going to frederik in manchester.. my 1st fill this thursday. Its a bit of a pain with the travelling for you on thursday but at least you know its the 1st step of having your new band, wishing you luck x

wahay iv just had to buy a pair of jeans.. a size smaller. On the down side iv cheated today, i had a twix finger. Its coming to that time of the month and i needed a chocolate fix, wont be doing it again tho.. i didnt even enjoy it so i dont know why i ate the whole finger x

Hi mmm well done on your blood pressure im sure thats a weight off your mind, dont worry to much bwt not doing the low fat diet you wont be the only one who hasnt done it. iv had a look on sky news and the weather for thursday is awfull.. im meant to be going to manchester for my fill but if its as bad as they say i wont be going till the month after x

Hi fatpants dr chris askes you to do a low fat diet 2 weeks b4 your surgery because it makes your liver shrink and this then makes the operation easier and safer for the surgeon, it is hard to do but it is worth putting extra effort in x

Thats a good price.. i will be going to dr chris for mine if i cant get it on the NHS, i know it was a bit of a horror story with the lady who was with tc but everyone is different, i would stay longer than i did when i had my band.. i think if we had flown home the day after i would of been a lot better than what i was x

HI tc27 well done on your weight loss you are doing great, iv lost 16lb so far.. im having my 1st fill on thursday so i hope the weight loss will start up again. Regarding the food iv stuck to mashed up veg and fish i did try chicken but i dont think i was ready for it really, iv got quorn for tea today, im going to cook pasta bolognese and see how i am on that, im still not eating a lot and dont really get hungry. Keep up the good work with yours x

Iv had enough of my dissolvable stitches.. they have got till tue morn to dissolve cos iv got a appointment with the nurse 9.15 tue to have em taken out. x

Its ok we still go walking in the rain, we were there last feb and it snowed but we still done our walking (committed arnt we) and it was lovely plus its not as easy if you have got young kids with you cos you have to keep them happy. we usually do a couple of long weekends a year up there but this time we said we would do a week cos there is so much to see and loads of places to go walking. x :biggrin:

Thanx flirtylass im just glad its moved a bit, iv got my dates for my next two fills, they havnt got as far as taking bookings for april yet, julie is going to phone me when she has (so she says). Im going on a hiking holiday up to the lake district in may so id miss that date and thats why i want to get the one in next week. My dr said i should be able to get a tummy tuck on the NHS once i have lost all my weight, BUT i bet the waiting list is years. will you be going back to dr chris? x

Hi mmm i think your probably more worried about the weather,roads and the flights i bet once you get there you will be ok and your bp will be normal. I didnt feel nervous at all just excited.. think is was because i new it was the start of a new life for me, i hope eveything goes well for you and you know we will all be thinking about you and the other bandsters going x :biggrin:

LOL u r naughty eating thick bread.. it is supposed to be thin sliced, I do miss having toast with philadelphia on but im not going to in case it goes down wrong, i thought it was going to kill me when that happened when i didnt chew my salmon properly.. i wont be doing that for a long time. Hi fatpants that made me laugh about your husband looking at bikes.. he'll be thinking you wont be able to say anything cos your having that much money spent on you for the band, i think id rather the band than a bike tho. Just tell him he'll have to get one with a big side car for all of you, that should put him off lol x

Hi gillian i also have restriction at the min but 12th march seems so long away and i hope it will kick start the weight loss again, im still being good with my diet.. still only having actimel 4 breakfast, slim fast or cup a soup 4 lunch then fish an veg 4 my tea,only a small amount cos i cant manage much, i did have poached egg the other night and i thoroughly enjoyed that, i dont have anything else in the day and im not hungry, i just wish the weight loss would start up again x
