Hi gillian, we had a good night thanx, dave enjoyed it which was the main thing. OMG iv had a letter today calling me for jury service in crown court on the 20th april.. im not happy incase it goes on 4 a while as we go away 2 1/2 weeks after it starts, not impressed x

Hi gillian my 1 PANCAKE went down ok, i did take my time tho.. i had a bit of vanilla ice cream and lemon on mine, it was delicious but i did limit myself to just one, im going out sat night for 5 course meal, i think ill just have to have a taste of each course and let dave finish them lol, he wont mind x

I think im opposite to most people.. even though i new i was over weight i didnt feel it, whats the opposite anorexic? on holiday i would still wear a bikini and sunbath topless. Hi fatpants and gillian, i have just heard the lad got head injuries and broke his thigh bone and apparently lucky to be alive (thats what local paper says), I hope his mum feels bad for leaving her 10 year old son home alone (arnt i cruel)We didnt get chance to do much walking but got some good photos of the rescue.. I tell you those people deserve a medal, they are amazing. . I cant wait for my pancake.. iv only cheated once since having my band (i had a blue ribbon) so im going to cheat big time today, tomorow is a new day x

Hi gillian, dont know about boys being boys the police where trying to find the little lads mum but it turnes out she had gone out for the day with her boyfriend!!! i havnt heard anything yet but ill let you know when i do. We are having pancakes today, its daves birthday tomorrow and we are going to see the chinese state circus so i wont have time to do them, i am going to try one, my daughter has vanilla icecream, sliced banana in hers, roll it up then put a trickle of golden syrup on, its so low fat, not. but delicious x

Hi freckles they give you your sexy stockings before you go for surgery i had mine on by 8 o'clock and was down theatre at 12, I had acrylic nails and the nurse wasnt happy and asked could i take them off :hurray:, i told her they were solid and no way could i get them off.. once she had a tug and was satisfied they wasnt going to fall off she said it was ok x

Hi fatpants i hope your hubby does go with you itl be a massive help, my partner was brilliant, i felt awful him sitting in the hospital all day when i was more or less out of it, i did say for him to go but he wouldnt. The food, i feel the pain as soon as i swallow if i eat too quick or dont chew my food properly, it bloody hurts actualy. You have got a busy family, im glad mine are all grown up lol. Me and my partner went out today for our normal sunday walk and ended up watching RAF SEARCH AND RESCUE in action, some young kids (age 10 or 11 with no parents with them) had been playing on high rocks on the coast and one of them fell and had to be air lifted to hospital, the tv cameras were there but i havnt seen or heard how he is, i'll look out on the local news tomoz. it was good to watch but sad at the same time. Hope you dont stay away from forum x

Hi freckles i agree with everything you have said about the band, im 5 weeks post op and i dont get any pain.. im back to normal.. so any guests reading the forum id say come and join us, feel free to ask any questions... having my band is the best thing i have ever done, i got myself a new best friend x

Sorry gary i cant help you on that one, i did get trapped wind that traveled up to my shoulder, i do still get it but its not as often and not any where near as painful as it was, i just take a rennie and that clears it. I just had liquids for two weeks after my op, i didnt try any foods i think i was too scared...after being told to stay on liquids for ten days, hope you get it sorted x
