There isnt any service stations down this way that could be reached from the other side of the road so we wouldnt be able to get your car on the way back, There is an asda in queensferry which is 30 seconds off the A55 and we could meet there if you want x

Iv done it.. lost 2 stone so far(yippee), the last couple of pound seem to have taken ages.. i think its all the walking we done over the weekend that has finally done it.

welcome to the forum hoppe, i had my band on the 16th jan 09 in belgium, frederik came and seen us the night before the op at the hotel, and dr chris came and seen us in the ward before our ops and went through what he was going to do and also to fill in the paper work. You wont be disappointed with the care that dr chris and his team give you, good luck anyway x

Hi freckles, im so glad your mum is on the mend.. she will soon be home with you getting proper care.. i dont know what it is with these places and elderly care? the elderly should be the ones who get the better care than anyone.. with out them living and surviving the war we wouldnt be where we are today, the ward mgr and dr will try and fob u off with some excuse. Good luck for then and when you have your stiches out x

I think it wud be a pain to come off the A55 especially if you dont no where to go, your lucky living up there.. we go walking in angelsey most weekendsx

Actmel yoghurt drink for breakfast. cup a soup for lunch. salmon and veg for dinner. grapes if i need to snack and plenty of fluids

Hi freckles, well done on your not smoking, i packed in 2 years ago with tablets from my dr.at least uv got your band so wont be able to compensate with food as i did and put on a lot of weight.. but i dont even think about them anymore, even though my partner smokes it doesnt bother me. Keep it up im sure you will start to see the benefits x

That is bad news freckles, when you leave a relative in these care homes you expect them to do the job they are paid for.. care. I think your mum will come on leaps and bounds once she is back home with you, somewhere she is going to get looked after she will get care and love. You really need to take a stand and voice your opinions and tell the mgr and dr that your mum is not getting the care she should have and in fact she is worse.
