Ivsey i agree with gary.. get in touch with dr chris and im sure he will reasure you that the band is fine and once you have healed it will start doing its job xx Gary it has taken a long time for me to get to this stage and was rather peed off when i could see others with good restriction and i could eat a scabby cat if i wanted to lol, wont be long and you will be back on track x

Hi freckles i will see how i go over the next couple of weeks and if my band slackens then i'll be going on the 8th, im working till 1.30 so i wont get there till about 2.15.. depending if freddy boy is running late you may still be there, i had a cup a soup for lunch and had a small piece of broccoli and gravy for my tea and i am still full, great isnt it. x

Welcome to the forum krystle, i also booked through bridget and didnt get a lot of info but like carrijess said you will get all the help and advice you need from here, everyone is willing to help eachother with advice and support, id be lost without everyone lol x I have lost 4lb since my fill on thursday, yipee. Frederik did offer to take some out if it was to tight, like hell was i going to let that happen lol... im still on liquids and only managing 2 cup a soups with no bits a day and i can feel them going down. I love this band xx

Thats a good date to go, my daughters birthday lol. Dont worry to much as we are all different in the way we heal, you are having surgery so will be in some pain although its not unbearable and can be managed with over the counter painkillers, the only time i remember about my band is if i eat some thing i shouldnt and it gets stuck.. but it is a learning curve with any of us who has had the band, i never have any reaction when i have had a fill and can hardly feel it when frederik does the fills x

I usually struggle with meat.. i dont like corned beef but i could try the melted cheese on chicken and see how i get on, i still havnt got great restriction even after my last fill, thats 5 fills up to now x

Hi freckles im still about lol just dont get as much time on here as i used to, iv been helping my daughter with her move and spending time with her. I had a fill on thursday so im still on fluids till tomorrow but fingers crossed it will give me better restriction this time, i cant wait to get to a stage as you are at.. Hope your well x Well done to everyone who has just been banded, hope your all doing well, the wind pain will ease.. i tried everything going for wind and found rennies were better for me, i did have shoulder pain for wks and wks after the op but the rennies did help also i found if i had something to eat it eased the pain, i dont think i was eating enough at the time x

Just got back from having my fill.. frederik put in 3/4ml so fingers crossed it will give my weight loss the kick start it needs, i was talking to a lady there who had lost 11 stone in 2yrs and she looked amazing, no loose skin from what you could see. Gary, frederik was telling me about your leak and your repair, he spoke highly of you.. hope your doing ok x

Hi lischa usually for your 1st fill you will get 3ml put in, regarding you getting restriction is hard to say as every one is different, i had good restriction for a while after my 1st one x Shellangel get your hubby to read the posts on here he might be a little different then... you dont want to go trying to do things then set yourself back, its just not worth it, get plenty of rest x
