Hi suefee, hope your not getting worked up lol.. there is so much information about the band and fills its hard to take it all in sometimes. Regarding your fills it might be worth seeing if the wls group have a clinic near to where you live, they offer a package of unlimited fills for a set price so it does work out cheaper, i have mine with frederik.. i would of gone with the wls but they dont have any clinics any where near to me, im sure gillian or one of the others will give you there web site so you can just do a few checks, try not to get stressed were all here to help x -

Well you never know after dr chris or frederik reads the past few posts they may make some changes in there after care. I met dr chris the morning of my op and he went through everything and said what time roughly we would be going for our ops, im still glad i had my surgery with dr chris and would definitely recommend him to anyone thinking of having the band x -

I was told on my 1st visit for a fill the size of my band.. i think there a bit peed about patients going else where for fills and thats why they wont say, which is a bit childish, you should be able to go anywhere that you feel happy about and not feel as if you have to stay with them for your fills. i must say i never feel rushed when i go for my fills with frederik, he asked me questions about how im doing and about my diet and exercise and asks do i have any questions for him, i would of gone with wls group the only reason would be it would work out cheaper and you can have your fills every 2 weeks, the only thing is there isnt 1 any where near to where i live x -

Hi westbourne, i didnt tell people either, peoples opinions are that we are taking the easy way out, not like we haven't tried everything else and this is the last resort, its still hard work its not a miracle cure but something to help us and once the weight is off it will stay off. It's nice when i see people i haven't seen for a while and they say about my weight loss, i dont tell them about my band, they dont need to know x -

Hi westbourne, the hotel is about a 15/20 min walk from the hospital... when i had my band we had to be at the hospital by 6.45, the sooner you get there the better because the booking in area gets busy pretty quick with local people, your getting done on a good day actualy, its my birthday lol. -

Hi odgemodge, i took chewable multi vitamins from holland and barret with vit b.. these are recommended as your body wont be getting everything it needs after your op, the vit b is to help with your hair so it doesnt fall out!!! i have just bought chewable mv with vit b from boots, they are in a pink and white bottle (it tells you on the back that they have vit , you are meant to have chewable as you wont be able to swallow tablets after your band, i eat plenty of veg but still take them.. better to be safe than sorry, i dont fancy getting up 1 morn bold lol. 1 of the bandsters starting loosing her hair about 5 months after her op so they are worth taking x -
