Hope you feeling better soon flirty, i had ryvita last night and it got stuck.. worse than anything i had got stuck before, fluid wouldnt even pass and i was sick a couple of times, i can usualy eat them as long as i take my time..its strange cos i cant eat the dutch crisps bread that we had in hospital as they get stuck x

Hi moneyp you are given a hospital gown and stockings to wear.. we were told to take of all underwear, it was the time of the month for me so was allowed to keep mine on, 1 girl took hers off but i know others left there's on x

P.S Mandy you have nothing to be worried about.. your pain will be less every day and being honest it isnt that painfull, i think i only had painkillers for a couple of days and that was it, i had more trouble with wind pain than anything else x

Carry on babling lol we have all done it, i used the hotel towels and found they were a good size, you dont really want to be taking to much with you and if you dont find em big enough use 2, i didnt have a shower after my op just 1 before i went to the hospital x

How long did they take to get to that stage, mine are still purple(ish) but starting to fade x

Another thing odemodge is take slip on shoes or trainers as you wont be able to bend down and dont be afraid to ask for help in the airport if you need it x

My port scar is about 2 inches but the others are pretty small, lucky you flirty. How are your scars looking now x

Hi odgemodge, have you started to take your vitamins yet? i started mine the same time i started my pre-op, you will need pain killers.. nurofen melts i use as they melt on your tongue.. you wont be able to swallow tablets after your op, i took a slim fast with me and a couple of cup a soups, i didnt have the slim fast and all i could manage was about 1/4 of cup a soup as that filled me x

Hi freckles, i wouldnt say sporty (yet lol) but it is good fun and getting easier, we done a 6mile hike sat around a lake and up and around a mounatain, i still get out of breath when going up mountains but getting my breath back is a lot quicker, a few months ago it would of took 5 mins lol x

It was great, it really makes a difference being 30lb lighter, iv got so much more energy, we are going to the lakes on sat for a week of hiking.. i am hoping it will help me lose a bit more x

I was the same as you sammy.. putting about 4 stone on after i quit smoking, i had just lost my mum aswell to a smoking related disease, so wasnt the best time to give up really as i was grieving at the same time, i stopped everytime i was pregnant then started again once i had them, what an idiot. I know i wont smoke again tho x

Hi mandy, your op date has come round really quick.. you must be really excited. My last supper at the hotel campanile was steak and chips followed by belgian chocolate mouse, it was delicious, especially after being strict on my pre-op. The day you are discharged from hospital, well that evening frederik comes to your hotel just to check you are ok and while he was there i booked my 1st fill for 4 weeks after my op, in manchester the fill is £90, its right by the airport so its easy to find. How is your pre-op going x

O im so pleased for you.. im 2stone 2lb lighter and feel loads better and have loads more energy, cant wait till im reporting results like you are, you are an inspiration to us all on here x

Dont forget when you do have your tt that will be more weight off, we probably dont realise how much the sag weighs, you have done amazing considering you haven't really any restriction, well done you x
