Hi timeisnow i didnt bother with getting travel insurance we just used what was free through the bank.. my dr was and is very supportive and was sorry i had to go abroad for a band, iv got the support of the dietitian if i want it.. what will happen with your dr's surgery when you need to go and have your stitches out? just because your dr doesnt agree with something surely by law he cant turn you away.. being honest he doesnt sound like a good g.p. Hope your not feeling down about it all.. you will be in great hands with dr chris x -

Hi jackiem, welcome to the forum.. i think you are probably going to be getting banded by the best or 1 of the best surgeons in the bands, dr chris and his team are all very experienced, i paid just for the band and then booked hotel, flights separate, the hotel campanile is about 20 min walk or just a couple of mins in the taxi, once you have paid for your band, hotel ect there is no hidden extras, good luck to you x ps any ?s just ask someone will try an answer you x -

Hi freckles glad your mum has settled in the nursing home.. bet thats a of weight off your mind. Im sure your band is ok and after your next fill you should be able to feel some restriction, i bet its harder for you as you have stopped smoking the same time as trying to lose weight, both are really hard to do so you are doing really well really.. but i understand why you are worried as it has happened to you with your other band x -

Any tips or advice wanted!!!! when i wash my hair it seems to be falling out, more than it normally does.. im still taking my multivitamins every day, eat veg every day so i don't know what else i should be doing, i cant believe it really as i was only saying last week how important it is to take you vitamins so your hair doesn't fall out. Think i'll be making a visit to the dietitian at the dr's surgery x -
