I'm so glad to hear that you got your fill. At last!!! Yesterday I had my 2nd. I'm at 5 cc and at last i feel restriction. I don't even know if I will be able to go tighter. This feels perfect. I tried to call you this morning no answer , of course i didn't leave a message. I'm down 30 pounds as of yesterday.
I just love Dr. Nazarian. While he was filling me up and it was way too much he could see the panic in my face. He put his other hand on me and said breathe i'm taking some out. I do not like the feeling of not being able to swallow. He told me I am right on track. I have not started exercising and I need to. I confessed i had eaten a 1/2 doughnut the day before. He said EAT, but just to satisfy. He said we shouldn't be leaving anything out. Yhis just goes against all I have done. Oh well.

Any out there who are post-hysterectomy and banded?

My hysterectomy was about 10 years sgo. I hear you about not being able to lose weight. The band is changing my life. I was banded on 11/30/08. Today was my 2nd fill and i'm down thirty pounds. I am now at 5cc fill so i do expect the next couple of months will bring at least 20 +. -

:confused:I went for my 1 week post op appointment on Sunday 12/7. I had lost 17 lbs. Everyone in the office was stunned. Dr. Nazarian who did the surgery said this is not typical but kind of yelled at me because I wasn't consistently drinking the protien shakes. The whole week after surgery I wasn't one bit hungry. All This is probably because I'm old :)LOL. This week I'm up and have a bit of an appetitie but amy only drinking protien and chicken noodle soup. I just wondered if anyone else ever lost this much. From the posts I read before I thought maybe 8-10 lbs. Today I'm down another 2 lbs. -
