Hey one month out now!!! Let the countdown begin! Just caught up on your last few blogs...hope the pneumonia clears up...getting the right antibiotic can be tricky! I hope they gave you a breathing tube test to take home...it helps improve and know how you're doing (just one of those plastic things that measures the intake). I've heard beating on your chest can help break things up (DBF?), but that might make you a little sore...urban legend?...who knows. Glad everything else is going well...like you said 'meant to be'.
No Onederland or head lop for me yet...up and down the same 3 pounds for weeks, but I've got my third fill tomorrow so keep your eyes crossed for me!

So glad to hear that everything went so well. I've read your post-op blog and I'm telling you that you have the best attitude...'little glitches'...man are you a trooper! Makes the rest of us look like huge babies for whining about not enough restriction...you've made me appreciate my band so much more! Sorry to hear there's no legal precident, but I'm sure the new band will work well and you'll finally get the restriction you need! Can't wait to hear you posting on finally feeling the restriction! Third fill tomorrow...fingers crossed! Feel better soon, best wishes! -BG

Hi Kathy! I don't know of a recipe cal. counter. I'm such a bad cook that I'm never making up my own recipes and mostly use the ones now that list them, or I just estimate them (I've spent the time to break a few down on my own, but that's a pain per serving). The grad party was a huge success, just posted a long blog(s). DS1 had so much fun, it was worth all the trouble. Hope you're still doing well!

Hey Barbara! Thanks for checking on me. We're having DS1's HS Graduation Party tomorrow and I've just been swamped (huge party). It's been one of those weeks where everything that can go wrong has (ie. making him a quilt and the belt on my sewing machine broke...my sis is bringing me a portable today so it's going to be a wild day). Just checking in here to put in my Friday weigh in with the Bunnies. Hope you're doing well...got to run, but I'll check in when this is all over. -BG

Hi Crystal! WOW! Your weight loss has been REALLY great! He's going to be pleased for sure! I lost about 30 lbs. since surgery, but mine was the end of April, so you should be really pleased!
The fills are really quick and easy with Dr. Uchal, so nothing to worry about...they both took only a few minutes and finding the port and filling me was about 30 seconds each time. The nurse swabs you in the port area, then he comes in, they ask you to lift your legs up and keep them straight, he feels for the port, injects and you're done (except for drinking a glass of water to be sure you're not too tight).
Let me know how it goes...I'm back for my third fill next week...maybe will cross paths one of these days!
Keep up the good work and I hope you're enjoying the new you! -BG

Hey girl! I love the new avatar pics! You look great! I'm doing OK, not much restriction yet, but I get a third fill next week so hopefully I'll finally feel a difference. I'm down 47 pounds total with pre/post op, but it's been slow the last two months. Summer has been super busy with the three kids at home so I haven't been able to keep up with everything here either. HS Graduation for DS1 this weekend so I'm swamped right now. Hope your summer has been fun for you and I hope that new fill will help you out! -BG

I take 2 Centrum chewables a day (one with my morning oatmeal and one with dinner). I'm VERY prone to nausea and these work fine for me with meals (my doc recommends 2 Centrum chewables or 4 Flinstones gummi's a day). Give the chewables a try with a meal. -BG

You're right, some things happen for a reason. Glad everything is rescheduled and thanks for the friending! Good luck next week! -BG

Whoo hooo! YAY!!!! Maybe that's the 'reason' it happened...you would have overdone it helping the girls anyway LOL! Time for a new countdown!

Barbara- I'm really curious about your third fill, since I'll be going in for mine in a week 1/2. Do you feel a lot more restriction this time? I'm nervous they're not going to give me anything either since I've lost weight and now I'm just in that overweight category (even if I dress heavy, I'll be down about 10 pounds since my last visit). Was the nurse telling you to check the calculator to say that you'd lost enough or need to lose more? Yeah, I'm just under 5'9" so my BMI is now 29.9.
