SOooo glad everytihing is going good for all the new bandsters. I can't wait until this weds and I will be able to join the newly banded!:clap2: I am having a really hard time with the pre-op diet. I have cheated several X :eek: but I plan to stick to it until Weds. Hi Everyone! I am so happy with my Sam Gift!:clap2: I haven't actually completely opened it yet because my husband is a photographer and I want him to take a photo of my basket and then photos of it opened with all the stuff inside. I can see through the celophane though and it is an assortment of Amy Brown Fairy matted prints and a cute little fairy charm. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Oh and I still don't know who it is from but I would like to know so please tell me if there is no note inside. Also, I sent mine out 2-weeks ago with a note enclosed so I hope my Sam got it. It hasn't come back to me so maybe she is just busy??

I have a low BMI, too. I will be banded next Weds. I wish I would have done it younger but I am still only 34 so I'm not too old to enjoy a bikini if I can get to my goal. Dr. Ortiz actually has a video in his website dedicated to lower BMI's like us. You should check it out. I'd rather get this now before my weight gets totally out of hand.

Hi all Junebees!!!! My surgery is scheduled with Dr. Ortiz on June 28th.:clap2: I am getting excited and nervous.:phanvan Luckily, this is a very busy time of year for me with my son getting out of school for the summer and his end of year events. I really haven't had that much time to think about it until now. I plan to start a pre op diet of shakes for breakfast and lunch and salad for dinner in a few days. I want to try to stick to it for two weeks to give my liver the best chance, but we'll see how that goes. I really appreciate all the posts about other junebee's experiences so far. It helps ease my nerves.:rolleyes Hope to chat with you all soon.:kiss2:

Oh, I wish I had more free time during the week but I home school my son and then he has activities 3X per week after school time. It's pretty much impossible for me to have lunch during the week. I'm sorry...

Lunch is easier for me, too but my Saturdays are kinda busy for the next couple of months so if it's lunch it would have to be on a Sunday. How about the 11th or 18th of June around noon? We could meet at the Rutabegorz in Tustin which is probably more centrally located for everyone. Which day is better for everyone?

It looks like we have two people from the LA area, one from OC and two from the Riverside area.
