    I am 46 and have struggled with being overweight since the birth of my 2 sons beginning 14 years ago. I feel the lap band is a very last resort for me. I have tried every and I mean EVERY diet that comes along and lost the same 20 lbs twenty times!!

    Hi, I am scheduled to have lap band surgery Dec. 16th. So a little over a month from now. Dr Kirshenbaum is doing the surgery, does anyone have any experience with him? What was your experience like? I would appreciate anything you would like to share to help me feel a bit more at ease with this decision. I am really excited, but nervous also.
