Not much of a story.  I started gaining weight after my son was born in 1994.  We always sit down for a family meal at 6 - old fashion I know but I still like talking to my family at the end of the day. I love to cook and my skinny family loves to eat my cooking.  Diets did not work. Exercise did not work and a combination of the two did not work either. I have a bad back, got out of the Army and WOW 100 lbs later I realized that I need help.   So far the lap band lets me cook for my family - and reminds me that I ain't in the Army anymore - I am dealing with the smaller portions very well.
