my chest will get a red flush after a really intense orgasm. I read somewhere that it is fairly common.

The last "regular" size clothes I can remember being in was when I was aged 14, I was wearing a 12/14. I was so thrilled the other week when I could buy a XL sweater in the "regular" department.

I take concerta. I was off it for about three months right after I was banded. I've been back on for a month and am having no problems.

I can do part of a kids meal, but I have to take off most of the bun. I should just carry skewers with me when I go out...burger on a stick is easier to hold on to. The only fast food type of thing that I really miss is a good sub. I was a bread addict and am now in recovery.

my teeth hurt--vitamin deficiency?
bandelle replied to annecolorgreen's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
My sister, who had the band procedure done a year before me told me that going from liquids/mushies to solids might cause some teeth pain. She was right, except I've been on solids now for well over a month and they still hurt...extreme sensitivity to cold and hot. I have an appointment scheduled with my dentist to rule out a coincidental problem. If there isn't another problem, I hope this soon stops, it is agony. -
As far as meats after regular foods is bison ok?
bandelle replied to lilacbutterflym's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I've made chili with bison meat and had no problems with it. I've read that bison is lower in fat and higher in protein than beef. As long as you use farmed bison it shouldn't taste gamey. -
I mostly use it for aerobics. I like the step ones and the hula hoop ones. The body test is nice too, but can be frustrating because it doesn't seem really accurate...in one day my weight according to the Wii fluctuated by 8 pounds...unlikely.

The Girl Next Door has been banded..
bandelle replied to Thegirlnextdoor's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
First of all, Congrats! I was banded on 10/6, so I'm a little ahead of you. I was not hungry for the first three or four days. After that, I got a little bit of an appetite, but a little Protein shake would satisfy me. I added a little Fiber powder to my shakes to avoid the constipation thing. As for being a bit loose, you have to remember, you're only taking in liquids and most likely have been for a week or more. You may also have a lactose issue, especially if you are making your shakes with milk. A lactose enzyme pill can help with that. Your appetite does come back, I am in bandster h-e-double toothpicks right now. I can't wait for my first fill. I was hoping to delay it until after the Thanksgiving holiday, but if my surgeon says I can have a fill tomorrow when I see her, I just may do that. -
Hello, everyone. I was banded on Oct 6 and so far, so good. My baby sister was banded a year ago and she is my inspiration and mentor. I've been looking for a good on-line support and I think I've found it here. Looking forward to making some friends while I lose some of me!

I had my band put in on October 6 and am now gradually adding more solid foods to my diet, I'm chewing like crazy and am finding that my teeth hurt, is this common?
