Does Anyone Know About MUSC's New Program?

I am using MUSC for banding. My surgeon will be Dr. Baker, I have my first appt with her on 11/24/08. I have already been to the Nutrition class and psych eval. I am so ready for this. I was wondering if anyone has Tricare Standard. I know that they cover the band, just wondering how long for approval. :drool: -
Well finally some people from the Carolina's. I am from SC. I am not banded yet. But, I have had my psych eval and nutrition class. Will be seeing my surgeon next week. Have any of you had LapBand at MUSC?

Hi, My name is Patty, I'm not banded yet. I have already had the psych eval, talked to the dietian via telephone next week go to nutrition class. I was wondering if anyone out there is from the Charleston SC area, and was banded at MUSC?

What is your BMI? Some insurance companies require a certain BMI. If it were at all possible, I would call my insurance company myself.
