er........how can I send you some $$$. This is terrible, but I am glad that Illsucceed seems to be in good care. -
Penni, It is very evident that you are much healthier in your picture from this year. I definitely relate to good food choices. Keep up the Healthy good work. Your body thanks you in the long run! I love your posts, they uplift me. Thanks for being such a great source of knowledge and support!

I learned to fold fitted sheets with all the corners tucked into eachother, then folded behind the flat sheet, and tucked the pillowcases into the top of the flat sheet. that way, the sheets come all together as a package.

what happened to you?

I have joint problems----2 knee surgeries (damn soccer) and have issues with my back. I am sooo glad I had it done. Yes, I am losing slowly, but am satisfied. It is a TOOL, not a cure. You still have to watch what you eat, and choose wisely. Good luck on your decision!

Kat, I liked Sergio, but LOVED Yolanda! She is sooo cute! She made me feel right at home. I'm actually excited to go back for my fill!

I feel very much in the same position. I am very active, and have been working out and eating within my caloric limits, but no budging on the scale! I have to remind myself that muscle weighs more than fat and this could be a plateau. I have not had one fill yet, but feel like I could eat at least a small meal each time I sit down. Hang in there!

Hey Telly, I think you are great! You are very positive, and although I don't post much I feel your positivity is such an asset to LBT! Genuine honesty comes with personality, and it shows you are a real person in your posts! Your weight loss track is quite admired by me. You rock!

Okay, so i had surgery on April 26. Why do I feel like I can eat almost normal portions lately? Is this normal? I'm scared that I might stretch my pouch. I have an appt July 1 for a fill. Any advice would help.........thanks!

I don't feel negativity. I feel support. I'm naieve, I'm not sure what it is you speak of. I feel supported and a great deal of camaraderie here.

Anyone experience back pain with the band? (Please stay on topic)
lookingout replied to Anthony's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Good for you Anthony! I have wrestled with slipped discs at the ripe old age of 25 and can imagine how you feel. Good for you...you seem to be on the right track -
Does Dr. Billy have an office in Sac? I live in the Napa Valley, and would love to have a fill doc closer than san jose?
-
yeah, I'm not a doc, but wow that seems soooooooooooo low. I can't function unless I have some protein in the morning.
-
I definitely feel the same way. I spend all day crunching numbers on a computer so the last thing I want to do when I get home is type more. Your posts have definitely helped me. All of you have helped me. i've been to a few other sites and it isn't the same. Cheers to you p'nut!

Ok leener, I feel your pain. I am having the slime from he** right now but sooo understand what you are going through. I am hungry almost all the time. I have a lower bmi so I know that it should be more challenging for me. You have resurrected some good points about slowing down. I realize I need to do that. I also wait too long to eat then start starving...so I eat too much. It takes time and we have to take small steps each day. I feel your frustration!

so, do you think the phentermine is safe with the band? I am curious to see how it would effect me. I have been banded a couple of weeks now, but used phentermine in the past and it was great! -
:rolleyes:ew I'm not so sure about this. I'm worried that I have stretched my pouch. I just got banded. I don't know....but I can eat like 4 ounces, probably six at once. Is that bad? Please someone help.........
-
so you guys take it with the band? I am curious...........I used to take phendimetrazine and have thought about that and the band as a one-two punch.

wowowow there are a lot of us! I just saw "Super size me" last night and was sooooooooooo grossed out. Lets hear it for being healthy! (and reasonable!) -
Congrats to you Photo Nut! I think that's absolutely spectacular. Running is an accomplishment for any of us! I have had a few knee surgeries, and can't wait to sprint without feeling winded. congrats!
