The best relaxation technique that I used, is thinking about all the things that you will be able to do, that you can't do now! Stepping on a train, and being able to sit down on a three bench seat without people looking at you in horror, going to the frozen food section in the supermarket to pick up your "frozen yogurt" when prior to this, you migh hear the "tsk" sound behind you, going to any department store, no matter where it is, and finding you size on the rack, walking up the stairs without getting winded, just plain tying your shoes, walking past a display window, not stopping to look at what is in the window but looking at your own reflection!Contacting old friends, becuase you were afraid of how you looked...and of course, the most important, just living your life!!!!
