It is crazy how different we all are!! Some ppl are fine with .5 of a cc and others need to be completely filled is seems to get restriction. I have a feelnig I am going to be in the latter group. I had my first fill in my 4cm band last Monday and my doc was fairly agressive, filling it 2ccs. But to my dismay, I am still EXTREMELY hungry all of the time and can get anything down with no trouble at all.:eek: But I will wait another couple of weeks just to make sure it doesn't kick in late and then will go back and ask for another cc and see if that helps. I think it is normal at this point. You and I were banded on the same day and I am going through EXACTLY the same thing. Just earlier I was able to eat almost an entire bag of cheese rice cakes. I know that they aren't bad for me but I should not be able to eat that much!!:help: However, like you, I have had one fill a week ago and am not properly restricted. My doctor also was fairly agressive, filling my 4cm band halfway to 2ccs and warned that I would probably be full off of not much. No luck yet!! Hang in there though. Remember--it normally takes bandsters 3-5 fills to get to proper restriction so we are in fact normal to be able to eat a lot at this stage. I am planning on scheduling my 2nd fill when I come back from vacation in 2 weeks. I am soo sick of seeing Ms. Pickler not being in the bottom 3 week after week! What is wrong with America?:bananadoggywow: She has not near as much talent as the rest and needs to go ASAP! I adore Elliott, Paris and Katherine. According to the Dialidols website, the bottom three are Paris at the bottom :think then Kellie and the 3rd bottom was Katherine. I really hope Paris doesn't go. I drink right up to mealtime but try to wait 45 min to an hr afterwards. It is a very hard habit to get into but I am getting better at it. Hi there, I had a similar experience at a Fillcenter through fillcenterusa as well. I was told over the phone twice that they did have fluro and that they would charge $299 for my first visit/fill. Well, after the nurse got all of my patient information she informs me that she doesn't have fluro and that I still have to pay $299 even though she refused to even do a fill. She said that b/c I wasn't 6 weeks out *( I was 5) she would not do a fill but I still had to pay b/c it was technically my first visit.:faint: So I was very upset obviously and explained to her how unfair it is that i have to pay when I was lied to about what resources they had there, and that the whole reason for my visit was for a fill. Eventually she got back with me and said that she would speak to her manager and she could get a partial refund back. I don't know how much yet but I feel like at the most I should only be charged $75 for an office visit b/c that is all that I got. I would ask to speak to a manager. I definitely will never go to another fillcenterusa center. It is a scam. I hope that I get most of my money back and I would rather pay more somewhere else that is honest and reputable. Hi guys~ I am having alot of problems trying to find a good aftercare provider here in Tampa, Florida that will do my fills for a reasonable price. I was banded by Dr.Ortiz in TJ on March 10th. I tried going to a medical center from the Fillcenterusa website near me in St.Petersburg but my experience there was awful and I refuse to go back. The nurse who was going to do my fill decided not to do it, lied about have fluoro there when they didn't and then still charged me for a fill and an office visit. I was charged $299 for NOTHING! :angry I am so upset about this and everything but right now my main concern is finding a doctor to do my fills. I have UHC and would love to use my insurance and pay a cheap co-pay but if that isn't possible I will just settle for an honest, competent doctor that won't rip me off and will give me some satiation. I am so hungry all of the time and it is painful. :help:Does anybody know of any doctors that would possibly take me so I dont' have to go back to TJ?
