Also, was your husband supportive of your PS decisions? Mine thinks I look great at any weight and with any amount of sag, but his satisfaction with my appearance is not my satisfaction. He cannot understand why I am willing to take these "unnecessary medical risks by cutting into healthy flesh". I just want to be rid of the battle wounds of lifelong obesity. Hard to explain to some one who's been slender and athletic all his life.

I am about to to commence my PS after 100lb weight loss with the band placed in August 2008. I am particularly concerned about loss of sensation and scarring so I would love to hear exactly what obstacles you have faced on your journey. My PS suggested a benelli breast reduction and a TT horizontal with muscle tightening in two separate surgeries. Did you have any adverse effects from the anesthesia (memory loss, hair loss, fatigue?)?

I am older than you are (almost 60) and have yoyo-ed my entire life, so skin sag is a consideration. Your journey us an inspiration! Please share photos if you are willing. Warmly, Osabear50.
