    I'm back on the wagon today after a long stressful time in my life. I am getting a tiny fill this thursday to help me along. Today- B- coffee w/ FF creamer, 1 slice whole wheat bread with SF blackberry jam,2 small strawberries L-3 slices deli turkey, 1 slice Muenster cheese, 7 mini cheese rice cakes S- string cheese D-1/2 baked chicken breast, 1 cup dumplings S-Blue Bunny Fudgesicle bar (35 cals)

    I had my 4th fill yesterday so I'm on mushies today B-coffee w/ sweet n low S-string cheese L-mashed potatoes S-hot chocolate D-french onion soup w/ crackers Liquids-Coffee, water, raspberry tea
  10. I'm also a recovering DP addict. I would drink anywhere from 1-2 2 liters a DAY! I stopped cold turkey the day before surgery. I have read about bandsters that can still enjoy soda, but not me. One drink was all it took for me to PB violently out my nose and burn my chest. I'm actually glad I had that reaction to the carbonation because if I didn't I'd be back on that wagon. It gets easier. I supplement my caffiene addiction with a cup of coffee in the morning and a ice tea or something in the afternoon.
  11. I would have started NOT drinking with meals. This is one of the hardest things for me post-op still. Test out Protein powders beforehand. You do NOT want to be a week post-op (starving) and HATE your shake. try Vitalady.com to get samples, that's what I did. Also, start making protein rich recipes before surgery so they are already staples in your menu and easy to make and enjoy.

  16. 1)When I don't drink with or after meals I see a loss that week. 2)Not eating after dinner is over, no matter how hungry I think I am. 3)Blogging. Being able to put my feelings out there and get support means so much to me. (my blog link is in my sig)

    Today- B-coffee w/ sweet n low, apple slices S- 4 RF triscuts, LF string cheese L- 6 inch chicken sandwich (subway) D-meatballs w/ sauce, 1 slice butter bread I can't wait for my fill on Dec 10th, I should NOT be able to eat a 6 inch subway in a sitting. Ugh!

    July 09 banders

    I was banded 07/24/09 and have lost 29 lbs to date. I've had 2 fills and have 4 cc's in a 17 cc band. I still do not have restriction. :smile2:
