how are the 19th bandsters doing? I'm down 17 now and go for my first fill Friday 1/16

I've lost 12 lbs since 12/10 (pre-op visit)
Feeling much better and back to work today.
Not having much gas right now either. Taking it one day at a time

doing pretty good, just get tired very easily. I'm guessing it's the low calories from eating BROTH!!!!
I am soooo hungry!

I was also banded on the 19th. I am doing very well with very little pain, just sore. I can say that I AM hungry..... :biggrin: I still haven't had a BM....... sorry if TMI....LOL:ohmy:

I'm totally ready! I'll be staying the weekend at my MIL's for rest and recivery. She's a great nurse :ohmy: Not feeling nervous at all!

I'm 5'-8" with a low 36 BMI too.
Dr. Hollis is performing my surgery. I'm so ready to get started with this journey. I've had people try to tell me I'm not fat and I just say well.... I sure feel fat! LOL
How are you feeling after surgery?

I'm scheduled for the 19th too! Getting really excited! I start my pre-op diet on the 16th (only 3 days!)

I've had my consultation and they told me no drinking after eating for 30 - 60 minutes after. I was just wondering why? What does this do (I forgot to ask):thumbup:

thanks all :laugh: I wasn't sure if it washed it all down or stretched out your pouch. I know it will be hard in the beginning, but I'll get it. I think it will be the hardest to resist drinking when you feel like you have something stuck. Instict tells you to drink Water.

I was just wondering if anyone had any large tattoos and how they look now that you have lost weight. Back in July I had a large koi design on my lower back done. I'm so scared it's going to start looking bad when I start losing weight. I'm excited about losing weight, but I don't want my tatt to look silly :eek:

I just don't feel like going thru the long process of being approved. I'm in a position where I can self pay, so it's ok with me.

I go in tomorrow for my consult at Lap Band Solutions of Houston. my stats are... height 5'-8" @ 240 lbs. bmi 36.5 I'm so tired of being heavy. I'm ready for a new thinner life.:tongue:

thanks ksill18 :tongue: I may just go self pay because I don't think my Blue Cross Blue Shield will pay for it. I do have other issues like high cholesterol / depression ( I'm on Lexapro) and I'm pretty sure I have sleep apnea. My Dr. was sending me to a sleep study, but I cancelled it because of the cost.
