Hey yea I just got home about 2 hrs ago. I went in at 8:30 and my surgery was supposed to be at 10:30 and they didnt get me in till almost 1:30!! I was starving and thirsty lol. I was so worried that I messed up my pre-op diet b/c I was on the low carb/fat high protein and i didn't realize how many carbs were in fruits!! So all last night I was stressing about it thinking that my liver didn't shrink good enough. Well after my surgery, my hubby talked to my surgeon and he said that i did wonderful on my pre-op and that I actually saved him 20 mins because he didnt' even have to move my liver around and that I was the best patient he had that day!! So that made me feel great and basically told me thats what took so long with his other patients. Now I'm in a little pain with the gas in my left shoulder and of course the incisions. Other than I'm good. Not really hungry just thristy my mouth is dry. How do you feel after day 4 for you?
