I like their canned chicken. I've used it when making chicken soup. It's yummy. And all Hormel stuff isn't terrible. Their pre-cooked heat-in-microwave bacon is the same stuff that Subway uses. Very thin, very yummy!

Hey, PM me with your address and I'll send you some samples of the protein drinks that I have.

I even contacted OH's member services about her and they blew me off. THAT is what pisses me off more than anything, that they are knowingly allowing her to get away with presenting herself as a nurse. Even with all of their disclaimers, I think that they could probably be held liable if they allow Sandy to misrepresent herself as a nurse and someone follows her advice to their detriment. If someone gets hurt because of Sandy, OH is screwed, since they've been warned about her and they've done nothing. You may not be able to charge OH with an illegal offense, but that means nothing in a civil court. I wonder if anyone's reported her to the company that markets her CDs, since they are advertising her as a licensed nurse.

SONOFA...! Never EVER open a liquigel of Advil and squirt it into your mouth. That shit BURNS!

That would be wonderful! I don't think a nutritionist would need to oversee it, necessarily, as long as we made sure that all the submissions were either healthy or band-friendly (and maybe labeled the recipes that aren't really "every day" meals). Maybe have a few different sections, like one for tofu/vegetarian meals, one for red meat, one for chicken/turkey, one for fish, etc?

When I hit goal (and have enough money saved), I'm probably going to have a boob job (and a TT, also, if my skin doesn't bounce back). My boobs have NEVER been perky. The damn things are naturally saggy, I think.

Of course, the above is assuming that you don't want to look like a porn star or an '80s Madonna.

DEFINITELY go with the tear-drop shaped ones. The moons are fugly, and the cones look straight out of the '40s/'50s.
-
I would find someone that is experienced with the type that you want. You're spending hard-earned money for this, you should get what you want. Honestly, I'd try to do both the TT and boob job at the same time, if you might want more work done in the future. Are there any other plastics guys at the hospital you want? Or are you basically stuck with him or no one?
-
Are you wanting the tear-drop shaped ones, or is it something else?

I don't have IBS, but I would imagine that IBS would not do well with RNY, due to the probable dumping and malabsorbtion issues. I believe I've read posts by someone that had IBS, and she or he said that their doctor told them that RNY would not be a good idea.

Well, you've said (at least, I think it was you that said it) in the past that you only wanted to do either one or two surgeries (or at least, go under anesthesia) after banding. If there's more that you want to have done, and you still want to limit the number of times under anesthesia, I'd go ahead and do it. I mean, there's always going to be advances in medicine. If you put off surgeries just because you worry about what may happen in the future, you'd never have surgery. And hell, you'll be in pain anyway, might as well go whole hog.

Honestly, my NSVs come when I turn down bread, but that doesn't really count because I can't eat the bread anyway. I've never been really tempted by candy or sweets.

You'll find interesting threads that pertain to you in all the forums. I spent the vast majority of my time in RnR and Talk Lounge, but I don't ignore the rest of the forums. I don't read every thread in them, but I do read the ones that sound interesting. You just have to find what works for you.
-
I know that I personally just have certain forums that I go to. I am usually in Rants and Raves, the Talk Lounge, Food, General Discussion, and Support. I just check for interesting sounding threads.

Can you just use it like a broth? Or put it in soups?

Of course, the one time when I had to be out of town when I was expecting a delivery, the UPS delivery was on time. And as it figures, they won't leave packages at apartments. I got back today about 5 minutes after the UPS guy had left. Literally. I passed the van about 2 miles from my apartment. So now, I've missed two delivery attempts, and I am teaching classes all day tomorrow, so I'll probably miss attempt #3. That means I'll get to make the 45 minute drive to the UPS center in Lexington, KY on Saturday. Yay me. :ranger: :rain:

They sound yummy, don't they? -
I only teach one day a week, and I'm finished with my coursework, so I'm usually at my apartment working on my thesis. I just happened to have to go out of town on the first couple of days that UPS attempted to deliver the package. Unfortunately, UPS actually has a rule that keeps them from just leaving packages at the door if you live in an apartment. Some of them will go ahead and leave it, though, depending on who is the delivery driver. I've left notes in the past, asking that they leave the package at the door, but they've just left a slip with a little note saying that they aren't allowed. Other times, they go ahead and leave it. Luckily, the person delivering on this last attempt disregarded the rule about leaving packages at apartments, since I missed him.

Read my post again, Nancy. I never said you bashed him in emails. I said you are always bashing Wendell on OH. And you are. And what's "I don't want to reveal my reasons at this time" supposed to mean, if not that you were having your own doubts about SandyR? Sounds a hell of a lot like trying to cozy up to Wendell and play both sides of the field. You're nice to people when it suits you, but when they aren't looking, you'll drag them through the mud.
-
Now, what was it you said in it? Oh, that's right, "I would be interested in seeing your blog about the nurse scandal. I don't want to reveal my reasons at this time." Isn't that right, Njbowman? Oh, wait, I mean Nancy.
-
Really? I've got the email.

I wouldn't bother with it, to be honest. It takes very little time to cook eggs on the stovetop, and you can more easily prepare them to the doneness that you like.
