  1. wow nicole this is moving fast if he gets hired...... So a new step and probably something else to help weed people out early in the game. I know several people I went to orientation never made it to the surgeons appointment. They just faded out. A couple were from Reno and I think the long drive made them change their mind.
  2. Veggie Meat list. Your looking for 7 grams of protien per 100 or less calories per serving. Can be a bit more than 100 but try to keep it under 130 for sure. Worthington(Loma Linda) Vegetable steaks (robin highly recommended)-Calories 80, Protien 15gr, carb 3gr (comes in a can) Worthington Big Franks (Loma Linda) (another Robin favorite) 110 calories, 11gr protien. 3 carbs (comes in a can) Boca Burgers-I don't like them so I don't have to run the calorie and protien count on. But Robin recommended them. Tofurky brand items (cold cut veggie meats) Oven Roasted Tofurky 100 calories, 13g of protien, 6gr carbs. Smart Strips (chicken style strips) 80 calories, 14 grs protien, 6 carbs this is good with veggies, looks like stir fry meat Quorn Meatless chicken tenders: 80 calories, 10gr protien, carbs 9grm Smart Cutlet (eat only half to make this work) 180 per serving, 18gr protien (9 when you cut it in half) 7 carbs (3.5 when you cut it in half) Nates Zesty Italian meatless meatballs 80 calories, 9 grams protien, 3 carbs. MOrning star sausage patties (not links they are to high in carbs)- I ate them all so none left to write the stats down....next time. (most morning start won't work though) Ok gotta put his all back in the freezer before it melts!! The Big franks veggie hot dogs are my favorite of all them and Robin approved.
  3. I don't drink water before I weigh. But Robin says is doesn't matter anyway. But no crystal light and only water from here on out. Kaiser is usually 2 pounds up from my scaled. But last time only one pound up so it was about right. That is the Pinole office. Wow if not tomorrow than for sure by Monday Jes!! Ah wow see it flies by......... Nicole don't tell me your leaving I don't want to think about that.................:-( Riley I haven't forgotten you i am making a list. I have all my frozen food on my desk and I will give you list before it all melts away.........LOL
  4. Oh Friday will be crowded but I have friday off this week. I might go if you all go..............Need to see if my daugher has any plans on friday already!!

  6. It could have been worse I could have indulged in a Diet Coke!!! LOL, LOL, LOL!!! Oh goodness that would be like an addicts relapse into oblivion................... I wanted a Diet Coke today. Every once in awhile I think I am gonna get a coke on automatic mode and than I laugh and think it has been almost twelve weeks without one where did that thought come from..................makes me laugh cause how come automatic mode isn't catching up with reality!!
  7. Yea I hear that Christine. I will have to fight the carb cravings tomorrow ...........but I will just get back on track. At last I am at 1280 calories. Not great but it sure could have been worse......the cinnamon twists I age less than half but I counted the full calories just in case 5 is considered a whole serving. I gotta get to Marine World. Maybe after the next fill. I bet I could ride the rides again too!! And walking around that place would do me some good!! Wouldn't mind the sun either.
  8. Well bagels are bread, a carb and high in calories. Nothing good to say about bagels........but ok the truth is it was good just made me mad I did that after doing so well all week. But yea they will tell you no bagels ever!! I think I didn't PB'd today cause it all was soft food or most of it. The lentils I almost got stuck but I already know to eat those slow. They fill me up pretty quick. Not happy with todays menu or lack thereof!!
  9. I know NIcole I am not suppose to be able to eat bread. Seriously there was nothing to eat today except bagels and I couldn't leave for lunch. I thought I had to eat something but I think that was my stress talking............I was shocked when I saw it was gone!! ahhh................... I hear ya Nicole know your in a stressful situation lately. I really hear that. I think your right on once you get settled you can really hit your PP stuff again. I hope you get settled soon!! I am taking my own lunch tomorrow than it doesn't matter if I am stressed or not I will have something in my purse!! Serious lack of planning.
  10. Ok I had to cut my dinner if half to come in under 1200 today. But since most of what I ate is carbs it might not make a difference either way......... Tamra that is a great website!!
  11. Ok going to calorie counter and running the numbers. Maybe I am not eating my dinner.............I have it on the counter ready to go. I filled up all my 1/2 cup containers with lentils tonight so no more being at work unprepared. I need to have food around the office that works so this doesn't happen again.
  12. tamra your killing me here!!! I am way over my calories today.......and I barely ate anything. Just wrong choices for sure!! Now if no bagel or cinnamon twists I would have been fine today!! at least no crackers in this house!!! LOL.
  13. OMG those cinnamon twist are gonna do me in!!! I only had five but I will have to count them as a whole........... Thanks Tamra...........I think!!! LOL. Ah ladies I can't let stress do this to me again. I can see part of why I gained so much since I started working for the county.............hmm an aha moment for sure!!
  14. Hey Reggie. No bagels are not allowed!! I know, I know......I was stressing and it was the only food around. I thought I would have a couple bite than 15 minutes later all gone...............ahhh I should have even picked it up. The protien bar is not high in carbs but 30 grams of protien. I just do them cause I am vegetarian and my hair and nails have problems. Not doing them forever but I have notice my hair has stopped falling out as much the last week. I also think the cinnamon twists have carbs. Oh dear I am having a carb, carb, carb day!!! My only comfort is that pre band I would go hog wild and today I have just had little mess ups. Trying to drink extra water and tomorrow will have to be extra strict and no carbs period to get back on track. Just gotta make it though the danger snack zone tonight but I did it last night fine so I should be ok......... I don't like my menu today but there it is!! :-(

L: Amys Mexican dinner (corn and black beens and organic cheese enchilada) 350 S: 5 cinnamon twists from Taco Bell (caloris ??) D: 1/2 cup lentils (140) No exercise yet I worked through lunch today due to utter chaos at work!! LOL. I have to work late tonight but gonna try to squeeze something in in the next 1/2 hour. Ah ladies hard day at work........budgets cuts and layoffs suck!!
  16. I MIGHT have had a snack today. My daughter got cinnimom twists at Taco bell and I ate a few. I need to find out how much damage has been done on Calorie counter............they were yummy!! I also ate 1/2 a bagel this morning at work...........I broke my own no carb rule and it went down no problem.........sorta surprizing. I figured I would only be able to eat a couple of bites but before I knew it it was gone. Good think I only took 1/2. Besides that I have been good. I do need to drink more Water. I had to removed kids from their home today so stressed out!! Maybe that is why I snacked. Must be because I was in a rush and just grabbed food on the run today.............. Hitting the water tonight and thought about skipping dinner but I am gonna make and eat lentils or else I will be a risk for snacking all night from hunger. Ahh......................thats the honest truth!!
  17. Morning ladies. Fun reading all the posts this morning........ Ok so I made it all night without snacking. Think the water had something to do with that. I also want to bed by 11 so I didn't have the time to get hungry. I hear ya Nicole with the clothes. I cleaned out my closet and don't have much. I did pick up a few things at the support groups and I still have the 18 jeans you gave me that fit!! But alot of what I am giving away is new stuff I just bought it a few weeks ago-jeans, work pants ect-and I barely wore them before they got to big. I thought I would have a bit more time at 20 than I did. I want to not do that again. My stack of clothes by the door has all my favorite things but serious they have to go...................so crazy. gonna just get enough to get me by a few weeks at a time. I am thinking I will end up at 10/12 so than I can buy more clothes. So I have 16 and 14 to get through before I can really buy stuff. Nicole at your size people start to keep their clothes!! So no wonder your closet is going down. Love your picture by the way!! I am hungry this morning and have to get to work so have a great day ladies. I don't get to check my email much from work so until tonight.
  18. Even when I am at goal I will still be posting way at LBT and hanging out with the "gang"........................I hope we don't all fade away at that point. Ok headed to bed I stayed up until 1am last night cleaning out the closet!! Went out and bought a work suit for court today since all my works stuff is size 20 (I tried on my court stuff last night and it almost fell off me-I was happily shocked and promptly cleaned out all my 20's after that) Sorta like what Reggie says I think it still fits me and I love it so I let it stay in the closet. Last night I realized they won't fit me again and it was time to get rid of it all. BUt I went for the 18's today and they were to big too. The 16 is a bit snug but give me a couple weeks and it will be a perfect fit. Ok so at least I have a court outfit that fits.........and size 16 no less. I just hope I get to wear it a few times before I go to 14's. After 14 no more Lane Bryant..............back to Limited again!!! Yea!!
  19. I didn't like that Robin swore she never snacks. i thought come one girl be realistic. Sometimes I think she feels like she has to be on a show and be this tough dietition and she is not being real..........I want all her wisdom but I want it to be real and genuine. Like Liz ya know. But I think that comes with experience and age. She is brand new out of college. And I think she mixes up consistent with attitude. Not snacking tonight either. I drank to much water and I feel like I need to roll to bed tonight..............I seriously was so thirsty I just kept going. Now I might pop!! LOL. Gonna remember not to drink so much tomorrow. I don't like to feel like roly poly!!! But it for sure has kept me full. Reggie Nicole had that problem with not seeing herself thin to for awhile. I think it past!! Good grief we are all shrinking..................do any of you wonder once we get to goal than what?? I have wanted to be thin for so long that I don't know what I will do next or what my next goal will be once I am............weird thoughts. But I wonder if I will feel a let down since this has all been so intense and since I now have a totally new set of friends and support in my life.
  20. Chris didn't Dr. Baggs say we need 1000-1200 calories a day? Robin won't tell me a count cause she said she worries about the 1/3 cup x 3 more than the actual calories............
  21. Ok good I was thinking that someone could use the clothes. They are stacked in front of my bedroom door and the piles are so high I almost can go in the door. I need to find a time to meet up with people so I can get into my room again. Maybe I can give them to you Heather since your in town and than you can pass them on to the Bay area people at the next support meeting...............not sure when I will see you all since we just had a support meeting last weekend. Chris what kind of fruit cup is 50. I might like to try those. Reggie the pictures ARE great. I am so jealous you have lost so much since the surgery and here I sit at 15 pounds but it is all good!! :-)

  23. Ok..... B: protien bar 280 L: Gronola bar 180 salad (with kidney beans and low fat feta)400? I have a hard time figuring out how to calculate salads so I try to over estimate a little D: SF popsicle 50 1/2 cup lentils 120 about 900 to 1000 calories. 80 ounces of water and crystal light so far. Rode bike 3 miles. (exercise-still not addicted!!) Ok anyone else who really loses their apetite in the heat. I can't eat much when it is so darn hot!! I used to just drink diet coke all day long and not eat when it gets like this.
  24. Oh reggie those cracker sound good!! Girl your losing like crazy!! When is your first fill? Riley I still get hungry about 3 hours out. Just I can't eat as much without getting stuck. I think I will have to eat 4-5 times during the day to get enough calories in and to stay full. I get full quick now. Like the pouch gets full but my mind is going you didn't even eat. I sit there with 3/4 of the food left thinking what just happened here. But I certainly do get hungry. I haven't lost anymore. Down three since the fill and holding. sorta bloated from it being one of those "special" days of the month. I hope after that is over I will have a major scale jump. I hear you guys on the water. I have a hard time waiting an hour to drink when it is so darn hot. I went to take the trash out and it just radiates heat out there. I have 15 more minutes until water time. I am on the count down as we speak. I refuse to drink before an hour because I want to stay full as long as possible. Dreading the gym today. I hope it will be cool in there tonight.
  25. Tamra I have the clothes but I am in Sacramento. LOL. I have three bags of clothing now!! Ok nothing lost this morning but I am holding at three pounds down since the last fill. Protien bar this morning and coming home for lunch later. I am really trying to avoid the whole going out to lunch thing this month. Everyone at work goes out to eat and I notice since I work in such a stressful enviroment people eat alot to relieve stress. Better for me to make lunch or come home so I can measure everything. Since the last fill I will PB if don't measure my food first. Keeps me honest about portion sizes!! Gonna try to go to the gym at lunch for an hour. Chris I need to read those books if they can keep you exercising for an hour!! My daughter has them laying around the house here!! New hobbie maybe. Ok ladies off to work. Busy week.
