I'm new here. I just made the decision to go for it with the lap band. I'm a 31 year old mom of 8 month old twin girls. I've always struggled with my weight, but after a 3 year battle with infertility and now finally having my gorgeous little girls, I'm ready to DO something about my weight. I want to be around for a long long time with them, and I have got to get my weight under control. I've dieted for years, and it's never worked, so I'm hoping the lap band is the solution for me! I have my first informational meeting on 11/20, and hope to be able to get insurance to cover the procedure.
