    I'm sorry you guys. I don't want to complain anymore. I drink whatever I have to and do whatever is necessary to lose. If I need to wear a diaper to keep me from having a pee accident then I'll do it :grouphug:. I'm just happy to be losing. No more complaints from me.
  5. Ok, someone posted something earlier today that had me thinking. She mentioned that she had a pair of Levi's (inspiration pants) hanging in her closet. I actually did too but the hubby doesn't know. I haven't lost enough weight yet where I am comfortable showing before's and after's but I can show you my goal in full color These pants are symbolic to me, resembling hope and triumph. I take full responsibility in myself, in ensuring that I reach that goal. As you can see, it's a slow day for me here at work (at home) and I wanted to share my inspiration. I got these hot slacks that I wore maybe 4 times right before I got pregnant. They are a size 10. They are my inspiration. Currently I am in a size 18w but since the surgery on 04/11/2006, my pants are starting to fall off my hips and are even baggy Progress.... 1lb at a time. What's your inspiration?
  6. I want to be honest with you Robyn and tell you that your post just freaks me out soo badly. The certainty of uncertainty....freaks me out. I will pray for you. I don't know what else to do, having never been in that situation and hope to never be. I'm just going to pray that you'll be ok. And that whole artery thingy...I don't want anyone touching me now.

    When I get under 200lbs, I will get one of those girdles. Does it help tighten muscles or make them weaker? I heard a few things about girdles a few years ago but I can't remember what exactly.

    Nothing today, I am not hungry and I feel if I eat, I will PB. I'm going to the kitchen right now to try and get down a shake. :speechles I think I'm not hungry b/c I have drank over a half a gallon of water today for the first time in a long time and it's only 5:06PM EST. :rolleyes TMI: The water is passing right through me. I'm in the bathroom, literally every 5 - 10 minutes. Not good right...that I can't make myself drink shakes today? (Still Post op 2 weeks). Am I doing more harm than good? I'll just pretend that today was purification and detox day if the shake starts to taste gross and I can't finish.

    That's wonderful!!!!! I am proud of you. Keep up the great work and don't look back. You got me thinking ..."how can I lose 18 more lbs before my 4 week post op anniversary to make 40lbs? Hmmmm, that's 18 more lbs. Shoot! I can do it!

    No more ff coolwhip or sugar free jello for you Brenda. Be hard on yourself. You can do it! Don't even shop in that aisle anymore. Don't even do the Jello if you feel it's no good without the whip. Seriously, it's all in your hands. Remember, god gave us freewill... I woke up 4 weeks ago about what I needed to do. The lapband was just a tool I paid for to help me in this journey. We, in America have an abundance of food. Waaay too much food. Too many processed things and we put it all in our bodies knowing that. I realize now that food will forever be around. It's not going anywhere. I, however will not be around forever, but now that I know where I need to be and what I want to be, I have the power to control it. I can't control driving my truck and getting slammed in the back by a Mack truck (happened a year ago). But I can control what goes into my mouth. It's all mental. I'm going to pray for you, for all of us to get through this and to fight ourselves hard.

    Pnut, thank you soooo much for starting this. It's a wonderful idea and it is just what I need to keep me straight. I'm pretty good with following through with things on my own, but every now and then....... Out of all of the chaos that goes on for me on a day to day basis with the cooking every few hours for the kids and making dinner, etc., I needed something like this. I love to be a part of something huge and (giggles) this is huge for me. I love this thread and I take it very seriously, all jokes and peanut butter ice cream aside. :bananadoggywow:

    Gone for Good Club - April 2006

    Thank you lord! I was at a dormant weight of 219 for the past 4 - 5 days and I was getting really upset about it. I just joined this club and I'll be damned if I don't progress some kind of way. Ok, this morning I weighed 219lbs and I got so furious, I put on my sauna jacket, jumped on my treadmill and did a 2 mile run at a varying pace of 3.2 - 4.5 (5.0 for about 1 minute, almost died) and then my kids were making a whole heck of alot of noise, couldn't hear my ipod, and my DH wasn't helping so I got even more upset and jumped on my bike and took it for a 2.5 mile mini bike ride (with the jacket on). I came back, took off my jacket and water just poured out like I just got out of the pool. **NOTE*** when you wear the sauna jacket, drink lots of water before and after your workout so you don't dehydrate. TMI here so: Every single clothing item off, completely dried off for about 5 minutes, then hopped on the scale.... I'm now 217.5lbs but I don't do the halves so I rounded it off to the nearest. Here are my stats... C 218 (-22 pounds total, -1lb this week) P.S., still drinking water..
  22. I'm very sorry to hear about your mom. I was there once and I empathize with you . There's nothing anyone can say about the loss of a loved one, that will make you feel better. Only you know what you need to do for you. I too had Dr. Rumbaut. I'm still here and I'm better than ever! I'm glad I made the choice I did. You will too. Chin up luv and be strong about yourself.
