LMAO, WOW! YOU GUYS KNOW TOO MUCH!
-
Very true! What was I thinking? My team lead will kill me now!
-
Hey! That's true! I bought myself a gift that keeps on giving! No more dead grass :grouphug: Gee......

I hope I don't get in trouble. I was chatting the other night with Mr. PNut and he said Mrs. PNut had an impromptu nap on the sofa. He said his Missy was such a photonut, hence the name. I recommended some shaving cream and a tickle on the nose and a quick snapshot. His reply was something to the effect of.... "Do you think I don't value life anymore?" Something along those lines. I suppose he knew TOM was around... He actually told me he'd rip his arm off and do horrible things to himself before he'd be suceptable *spelling* to Mrs. PNuts.......acts of wrath and vengence. Lmao! Not that harsh......lol!

Well, according to the seller I had to sign a waiver regarding some crazy "Lemon Law" but he said that he promised that the miles per gallon depended on what I fed the horse.
-
Xann, that's great news! I'm happy you made it through the weekend. Now if we can all just....somehow maintain and progress from here. That seems to be the craziest part..keeping it off and moving down. Great job girly girl!

Here's my new car, just bought today. I couldn't resist. Tell me what you think!

I hate it when I'm driving and a person is at the crossroad in the right turning lane and there's no "No Turn on Red" sign up and they just sit there. I hate that sooo much. Time is money baby! I hate it when my kids are laughing and giggling and all of a sudden, "BOOM" someone's hurt and then cries of pain fill the air and echo throughout my house. My heart skips a beat and my legs move before my brain can really register what just happened. I hate it when my husband forgets that we live in a Forest and he puts out the trash and the raccoons get to it. I hate cleaning up the nasty mess. I hate it when DH comes home and leaves his shoes wherever he feels like it. I hate it when the cardboard toilet roll is left in the toilet dispenser. The new roll is on top of the used roll. I hate it when hubby brings home cheeseburgers while I am on the liquids. and finally, I hate it when I can't stop talking. Soo embarrassing.

Lmao! Lmao! Lmao! Lmao! @ Kim8!

Cool Thread! I hate it when I've had liquids all day and I can't find a nearby rest room.

Gentlespirit, that is terrific lady! You are doing a fantastic job. 31lbs and counting. I am particularly happy that you are walking 1 mile a day. That's excellent. You aren't hoping that the band will do all of the work. You are actually working with the band. Now this is how I believe it should be done. I salute you!
-
Perfecto! This is how I wanted to explain it, but bravo!!!! That should be the last answer and explanation to the creator's question.

What is this? A debate? Are we feeling ok? Why can't we all just get along? Can we all co-exist? We meaning the Turtles and the Rabbits or the Rule Followers and the Rule Breakers.

High fives funnyduddies! I like that. You sound extremely intelligent and straight to the point. You made perfect sense and you were absolutely right. "S"'s statement was extremely irresponsible. If a doctor read that...they'd have some serious words. If you have done your research, you wouldn't be asking "why you have to be on liquids for the first couple of weeks (other than to lose weight)." The answer: Your band is stitched into place. Requires healing time. liquid diet will guarantee healing time as it is liquid and will not be soo heavy and not create future band difficulty. Eating a whole piece of chicken.....lol, let's just say......will probably cause some slippage of the band, further expanding your new small manually created stomach pouch, requiring later ...for you to have it adjusted and or removed. Again, none of us are doctors. We did not to go medical school. We are not Licensed. Go by what was recommended. Eating within your first week is a big no no. 2nd week too. Actually my doc recommended 3 - 4 weeks on liquids stating that the band will..in reality, require a good month to heal into place. Here's an article http://ww3.komotv.com/Global/story.asp?s=3392531 I hope you do well with the band but if not, I won't wonder why. God speed!

Wheetsin, nice pictures. Those look almost forensic. Your scars healed really well.

I'm soooo loving this momentum! Let's all hop on the weight loss bandwagon and get this train fired up again!!!!! (Puts her hands on Tricia's shoulders and says)...."Let's go yall!!! Come on!" ) :)

Jacqui, I love you for saying that. It brightened my day. After reading that statistic, it kinda freaked me. I sometimes see things flatly. I'm glad you said what you said. Thank you truly.

I'm soo glad I did this challenge. I attended a Wedding and a Quincinera on Saturday night, both in the same night and boy lemme tell you...all the goodies, cakes, Italian and Puerto Rican food you could ever want. I felt soo left out but I'm happy I didn't touch anything but grapes. Mushed.... Plus it helped that my whole family knew I had the band so they would have given me the Evil Eye anyway.

Yipes Staci. That's an eye opener. I'd hate to be the one to be in the 55% group. I hope to be one of the patients that do better than their statistics. Losing only 55% would mean a total weight loss of about 57.75lbs for me. That would make me halfway there almost with a weight of 182.25lbs. Blah @ statistics! Was this Dr. kim?

Keka, honey... you are absolutely,...postively gorgeous. Your wedding was soo nice! Oh and the hubby.... handsome as heck. You two make such a nice couple! I did see how your weight yo-yo'd. Mine was that way after I had my son. I just kept going up and down, sometimes under the weight and then up 30 - 40lbs. It's upsetting. But you are doing a great job luv. Keep up the great work and don't lose sight of your dreams.

Support Group and Meeting Central Florida or Florida bandsters. Anyone interested in helping start one?
-
MelodyJ you are right. I called Dr. Kim first for the lapband surgery but his prices were nuts. Also the follow up, support group and fills, you are correct. That's the price I got around April 6th.

Oh yeah! It's a jungle out here. I should be working but I'm soo exhausted. I'm dead to the world. All I am doing is typing in LBT. I'm really bad today.

Ok, I am really not 100% comfortable with showing my body pics yet. I'm sorry. But I will show you accurate pictures of myself. The first picture is when I weighed 240lbs. The 2nd picture was taken last night at 216lbs. I may take full body pics tonight and show you guys. I did take before's at 240 and they are soooo gross to me.
