That's awesome! I'm glad you made the decision! It's life changing.

145lbs ish... Weight ranges from 145 - 152lbs depending on how strong my workouts are and how hungry I get after a workout. I am completely unfilled and trying to fight this without the fill.

I'm loving your post Puddin. Some people may be against plastic surgery or say they can't afford it but honestly, the clean up after the weight loss surgery is worth every debted and owed penny. The Plastic Surgery decision is one of the best investments you will ever ever make, to include the perks such as a tremendous boost in self esteem, no more tugging at shirts to cover your panni, intimate embarrassment, etc. This was a good post and it's great you are publically journaling your day to day tasks, observations, etc. It will help the next guy when they are ready to have the lower body lift. P.S., where is your circumference scar? Is it right under the bikini line? Not midsection waistline?

From what I can see, your arms look great. You look amazing! I can't say that enough. I've been waiting for months since we posted about the tummy tuck to see your results, swelling or not you look amazing.

I have decided that today is the day I put a plan together where I can be either competition ready or beach body ready by May of 2007. I am at the point now where I want to try my hand at body building. My Personal Trainer and I have developed a plan for me to be in competition readiness within the next 4 -6 months (amateur) if I do this to the "T". Here's my plan: Weight Training My weight training will be consisted of a six day a week split, created and designed to put emphasis on each muscle group, individually and allowing me maximum recovery. I will train each muscle group once per week. There will be alot of emphasis on my posture and form. I will concentrate specifically on the muscle range, squeezing my muscles through the entire full range. I will be using heavy weights and will do 3-4 sets with lower reps..such as 8 - 10 on most exercises to maintain my muscle during my calorie restriction period. Remember lower reps, higher weights bulk you and higher reps, low weights tone you. Cardio I will do cardio 4-5 days per week doing only 30-40 minutes of cardio per session at a high intensity level. I will be training on the elliptical and my bike and take some spinning, maybe treadmill as well. I may take some classes such as yoga and pilates to vary my workouts. Nutrition I will be on a strict nutritional plan, taking in a 35%/55%/10% ratios on foods. 35%-carbs, 55% Protein, 10% fats. I will be consuming slow absorbing carbs that are low on the glycemic index. Since we all know protein is the key to building and gaining lean muscle, I will consume lean protein meats such as turkey, chicken breasts, tuna and eggwhites. They will be low in sat fats and low to no trans fats. supplements are extremely important in this process. I will be taking additional supplements which I know I will force down b/c i feel im taking in waaay too much now but...here goes: Isolated Protein Phosphagen L-Glutamine Multivitamin Creatine Lipo6 - fat burner Before & After I will post a before picture (current photo) and an after picture in 4 months which will be current at that time. Anyone wanting to participate with me on this, we can compare, research, share and take notes. Anyone down with me?

Ok, as promised in another post, here are updated progression pics of my abs, arms, thigh and calves. I still have about 10-15lbs of fat to drop and about 10more lbs of muscle to gain.

Gonnabethin, let it run it's course. I've taken a few things and I found that it will just come out till it's finished the cycle. I'm sorry but hold tight, buy bandanas and hats or even hair pieces and wigs. It will stop eventually. All of the above worked for me.

I've only had one fill to date and that was Sept. 15th, 2006. I have also had a complete unfill. I did not up my fill prior to surgery, but say... a month before I had a fill. I was fairly restricted at 2.8cc in a 5cc band. Here's updated pictures..and yes I'm doing arm flex poses for another site.

Find the right trainer for you if you opt to have one. Some push you and some don't.

Hey Katgirl. I recommend strictly cardio for at least a month, that way you can reduce fat/weight loss. As you are performing cardio, you are working your muscles however weight training/circuit - or free weight is a must! You should start using light weights, high reps, 3-4 sets as soon as 1 - 2 months out. Cardio should be done 4-6 days per week at 35-45 minutes per day. Weight training should be 3 - 6 days per week, depending on what you are doing. I had a personal trainer for a month who got me familiar with different lifts, diff equipment. They were 30 min sessions and you can't really get a whole lot out of a 30 min session. If you are strong willed and disciplined then you may not need a trainer for anything other than to help get you familiar with the equipment.

Eww yeah Julie. The port is repositioned if need be. Now mine is buldging out and I should have went for a lower profile which I will need to do before any competition. *uggggggggggh* since I lost alot of fat around my abs, it's just poking out like a hernia. Ok, um......I saw the tubing and the port believe it or not. I saw the entire surgery as I was awake. I saw the tubing attached to my inner lining of skin. Gross but it's there and very visible.
-
It's a 1k ish, depends on all of the attachments you buy with it. Ive been working out guys, my regimine hasnt changed. I workout out 6 days per week and work different muscle groups each day. I do 45 minute cardio - 6 days per week. Just an FYI, b/c I don't post daily now.

My mother gave me her bowflex (clothes hanger) and it's awesome. Now if I don't feel like heading to the gym I can do the same exact workouts at home with the exception of a few... but my father used to have a universal gym and it was "ok" had alot of pieces and hard to keep up with, detach, put together, etc. The bowflex is easy to use. Very!
-
Wow Julie! I'm impressed. You are moving right along there. You are doing it all the right way too.
