Ok, I agree but when there are a majority of women in a thread, it will be considered.."crude and piggish" to say the certain things that were said. It's just not cricket. I mean, what if I came into a male's thread and talked about how my nipples were getting hard b/c I saw some sexy pics of them? It could be construed as harrassment and may not be acceptable to the majority of the thread members. That being said... I'm glad the posts were deleted. We can certainly try to move on from here.

Breezie, could be the anesthesia. Some people are extremely sensitive to medication and major surgeries. That was also a cause for hair loss. Rapid weight loss, anesthesia, hormonal changes... several things.

I washed my hair tonight and I had ... 25 hairs or so fall out. It's getting serious... I remember this happening before but not as bad and as dramatic. It was minimal but noticeable only to me. This was when I had my little girl. The doc said that the anesthesia and pregnancy did that to my hair. Now I have to believe it's the anesthesia, the rapid weight loss and possibly hypothyroidism that's working on me now. My hypothyroidism is very borderline, 2 points away from the minimum T something..I forget.. So I am not taking meds right now.. I stopped years ago and it's done nothing to my hair. But lately, past month.. I can't come to grips with how much I'm losing. I believe it's temporary b/c it kinda happened overnight. Hope I don't lose too much. I'll just wear a cap for a few months

I'm hoping that the doctor diagnosis me with telogen effluvium, then that would explain alot and I can be patient with my hair coming back. I always had a head full of thick, silky hair...

I'm seeing a Dermatologist next Thursday. My hair loss is very scary. I'm sure and hoping he tells me it's the rapid weight loss and yes, I am 3 months out today and my hair is seemingly coming out at the touch. I have Biotin which is just a Vitamin but I will purchase Nioxin to see what's up with that. Once I meet up with the Dermatologist next Thursday, I will then go to the beauty salon and have it all chopped off. If it's gonna come out and regrow again in a few months, I will be the one to take it off! I'm gonna do the bald thing. Like G.I. Jane. Extremist measures. *edited* Ok Ok, maybe not G.I. Jane.. but I really want it short..very short. We'll see what happens and if Doc says it will all be alright. If everything is ok, then maybe I'll just leave the hair alone for 3 more months to see if it all comes back the way it used to be prior to surgery.
