What do you say when people push food on you?
Telly replied to sweetsue's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I simply say, "No thanks, I'm good." Then I fill up on water so I feel full and not be tempted. Drinking alot of water really curbs your appetite and makes you feel full fairly quickly. It's an old trick. -
I'm in Kissimmee and so far I have not had a fill but I did sign up with www.fillcentersusa.com They called last week to see if I found another office to do my fills but I let them know that they were first on my list should I decide it's time for one. They seem cool.

OOoooo I didn't see this msg. Thank you Lookingout! It's a really awesome feeling when you know you help motivate others to be better, healthier people. You have to know that you guys do the same for me. I come here to get motivated as well. Though I had taken a 2 week break from LBT, I did not stop working out as usual. I'll never stop. Rock on everyone!:peace::rockon:

Aww gee. Thank you. Losing hair is temporary unless it's a gradual hair loss, hereditary/genetic kinda thing. I'm not worried. I'm glad my husband is warming up to me. He was in quite a bit of image shock of me. Ali, glad you are back on track. It's normal to take a break from the craziness of working out and calorie counting. I have taken 2 days in a row breaks and it's helped me and my muscles heal. I've torn so much muscle doing what I do but I'm good now. Breaks are really good for you. I hope everyone is enjoying their last few weeks of summer. I sure am. Love you guys and I'll see you soon. Been working on my belly lots. 400 crunches every other day and long bike rides.

I had to do this. My hair was falling everywhere in everything. I'm not mad. I'm rejoicing now. First pic was my husband snipping my lock off the back and it made me look like I had a bob. This pic is the fully finished buzz of #6. This is me for the next few months, bandana girl!

Hahahahaha... *watches Luna trip, rushes over ....sticks out her hand to help her up* That's a cool cause. Gosh.. I don't know if I should keep growing hair to snip it away for them. Surely feels good.

With the wonderful advice of dear EmileeKaye, whom in which is always thoughtful and kind hearted, I did contact Locks of Love out of Lake Worth Florida and they need hair. 10inches in the minimum length and it has to be a lock ..not floor hair or strands. I'm glad my husband snipped it the right way. The hair is in the mail. Thanks Emileekaye. I love the fact that they do this for children, www.locksoflove.com P.S., still 165lbs, but maybe down soon.. I'm not worried.

Look whose talking Iulizbug!!! You were 241 now 174!!! that's 67lbs 5 months... exceeding 10lbs per month by dropping 13.4lbs per month. You rock Iulizbug!!! You are 14lbs away from goal and that's impressive to say the least! Imagine that. Reaching goal weight in 6 - 7 months of surgery. Quite impressive.

I'm enlightened all over again. I felt like him as I read his last post. Very sad and dark place to be, right before the decision to be banded. My deepest condolences to that family.

hahaha Heathergurl! Wooooooot!!!! Thank you. Trust me all, this wasn't an attention seeking act or a "How will they respond" act. I did this b/c I really had to. When you start seeing hair falling in your food and when 50 - 100 hairs fall out after a shampoo, not to include 100 hairs falling out during the day.. it can be highly irritating and very depressing. I am glad I did this. Thank you for your kind words. It's helping me.

Way to go P'Nut, you can lose it. 2lbs is nothing. It can be dropped in 1 day with proper hydration and exercise. I'm routing for you mamacita! Thank you P'Nut and Paul. It really feels good.
