Wow your an inspiration i have just been banded on Jan 28 and have lost 22 pounds and can't wait to see were i'm a year out! Keep up the good work..how much have you losted?

I just weight myself this morning and i'm down 7 lbs in a week since the surgery and so that is now down 20 with the pre-op diet soooooo coool!!!!!

I feel alot better the last 2 days and im at the full liquid stage and feel like im getting more nurtrients in me so far so good haven't weight myself but pants are falling off me so i would say that is a good sign!!!Look forward to hearing from you

Hey there good to hear from you! It looks like your surgery went smooth!!! Thats nice i had to have my hiatus hernia repaired to my recovery will be longer im off work till Feb10 but i work as a support worker for developmentally delayed so i move alot of limbs!!!! So it might be longer!!! I'm having a better day today....i did not take any pain meds as i didn't like the thought of them crushed!!! I look forward to everything healing!!!

Ok i need your help i had my lapband done on Jan 28 and at the same time he fixed a hiatus hernia i did not know i had and had no symtoms of!!!! Well my recover has been not very smooth i have gas and it is massive and i wake up every night with tightness in my chest!!!! I'm having trouble getting the clear liquid down on this diet cause it feels like im already full!!!! Help at a loss and feeling helpless i'm calling my doctor on Mon as i want some answers!!!Anything you could tell me would be great

LOL!!! Your way too funny i am on slim fast for my liquid part and not finding it to hard, my doctor was not to concern how i loss weight just that i did loss some!!!I started at 230 and i am now 216 so i think that is pretty good!!!

Thanks so much for your info i'm sure i will need to call on you again when i have some weird things happen which from this sites sounds like it happens alot!!!I am very worried about the chewing thing as i'm a fast eatter and probably dont chew as well as i should!!!But i'm down 14 pounds with the pre-op diet so that is cool!!!
