Just hang in there. Any lb. down is better than a lb up. I was going up and down for a while and now I'm at a stand still. I know I am not eating right and that does not help the situation nor am I exercising daily any more. So no pain no gain. What gets me back focus is when I think about the money I put out since we insurance would not entertain this surgery. Makes me want to work harder. It does give me something to think about. (lol)

Again, as someone said just hang in there. I know it feels like what have I done. The cost, I should have lost at least 100 lbs. by now but I haven't. I keep in mind, every pound lost counts whether it's 1/2 lb or 1 lb. Since I lost so slow, I have no flabby or hanging skin of any kind. Not even my wings are flying. Do exercise some but no enough. Still need to lose 30 lbs. Will be post-op 2 yrs on the 25th of Jan 09. But, I will keep plugging until I get there even though it slow as a turtle. It cost to much not to succeed. Cjean

At almost 50th, I have struggled with my weight my entire life. Was even 8 lbs when I was born. Largest baby my mother birth. At 5'2", I was weighing 250 and now am at 185. Since the surgery and weight lost, I feel better and no longer taking all the meds, I was having to take like the dieabetes medicines. It has been worth every penny it cost me and even though things still get stuck and cause me heartache, I would do it again in a heart beat. Hope everything works out for u. cjean

Believe me I know how you feel. But don't give up it will happen sooner or later. Of course we want it sooned than later. It has taken me 21 months to lose 65 lbs when lot of people are at their goal and doing maintenace by then. I still need 30 more pounds to walk away from me. (lol) Oh that means, I need to get up off my behind and start the walking and exercising again. Stay strong. cjean

Hello everyone. This is my first time on and I am wondering if any one else beside me have lost lots of hair? I will be 2 yrs out on the 25 of Jan. 2009 and lost 65 lbs. I always had a full head of hair and it was in the middle of my back. Now it is very thin and almost at the top of my shoulders. Any one have any suggestions? I decided, my hair does not like this foreign object in my body. Of course I had two surgery back to back (one on the 25 and the other on the 26) but still it has been almost 2 years.
