Sounds like you do need some taken out. Best of luck to you.

I agree you shouldn't be Pbing at all. Yes it does make sense that you feel your stomach relax because it is a muscle and the warm water is making it relax. Most people can eat better of an evening than of a morning for the same reason.

I found that after a fill I felt btter if I only ate soft food s for a couple of days I did better. That gave my stomache time to settle down. It is training to learn to do this the best way that works for you. God luk

Call your doctor you may be to full. You don't want to take a chance on having a slipped band. They may want to take out 1/2 cc. It is the best thing to do. Another thing to try is to drink plain hot/warm water 15 min before you try to eat anything it will help relax the stomache muscle and sometimes food goes down easier. Good luck.

Everybody is different as to when the feel the tightness of a fill but I know after every fill I would have to slow down when I ate and make it small portions until the swelling went down.

I agree with all the others. It is a journey so take one day at a time. Be sure to exercise, water aerobics is a great exercise as it is easy on the joints and you move every part of your body. Even if you just go to the pool and walk for an hour every other day you will see a change. It toke me almost 2 years to lose 120 lbs but I did it. Let me tell you it is worth it. Make sure you eat protein every meal and if you have a snack. One other thing I found that helped my was to drink plain hot water when I felthungry the warmth helps you fell full and satisfied. Good luck, Keep putting one foot in front of the other and always move forward even if it is only and inch at a time.

sounds like you are doing very well if you are thinking about exercise. Dr Kaplan told me I could start teaching zumba and line dancing again in 2 weeks. I did and didn't have much trouble just very tired.

Well you will still get plenty of broth for the next few weeks. Congrats.

These are not fun times. I have found that since I increased the vegetables I'm not have the problems with constipation. Of course you have to get things moving first. Drink lots and lots of water.

That is great that you are helping someone else. I think that helps alot. do you have a support group meeting in your area. Those meetings help alot. I know the first week I asked myself why i would put myself through this. But i'm really happy I did now. It will get better. -

Hey there bandedbird I know it is easy to slip back into the old eating habits. You have to look yourselve in the mirror and say you can do it. I think we all struggle. If you can afford to eat out save that money a buy an exercise video or go to the libray and borrow one for free then use it. You will fell better if you just do it. -
bstonestreet good luck. It will go by so quick before you know it you will on your way to a new you.

The emergency room Dr said that she felt it was just to few calories and to much activity at the same time. She felt that I need to add some food. I have been stickin very close with the diet which is 2 protein shakes a day and meat and veggies for 1 meal. The lots of fluids. I have had my sugar drop before but this didn't feel the same.

H there everyone. I hope everyone is working thru the holiday goodies. It is really hard. I try to eat very little at the parties and dinners but I don't always have the will power I need. I have done much better this year than any other time. I think that is because I know my surgery will be soon and I want to make this work and not be a struggle for life. I have fed bc/bs also and they are telling me that I will have to pay the $4000.00 out of pocket before insurance takes over. Then it will be 80/20 or at leat that is what I am understanding. It is going to be a struggle but I'm going to do it some how.
-
Elizabeth your problem is probably from not getting enough water and eating less fiber. Add fiber daily and try to drink more water in between meals. Good luck. Debbie
