Hi all. thanks for the responses. Yes I have been excercising. That is the one thing i have never had a problem with. I do need to get better on the food choices. I do have restriction but and I definately eat less because of it but my body is just not letting go of the weight. Is it possible that it just may not work on some people. does anyone else have numbers even close to mine in the first two minths. I know everyone is different but I'm just trying to get some idea of where other people are in there progress after two months. Thanks all

Hi all. Im just not losing weight and I don't know what to do. I was banded on november 12th,08. Thats about two and a half months ago. I have not even lost 10 pounds. And i lost most of that when I was on my liquid diet. I have had three fills , each time putting more in. I know have in 3.2 in a band that will hold 4.0. Does this not work for some people. I just don't know what to do? Helppppppppppppppppp. Has this happened to anyone else?:thumbup:

Hi Randie, are you sure Dr.Williams does fills for people banded in Mexico.It would be awesome if he does. It would give me another option besides fill center usa.

no severe pain, no seepage, it is tender to the touch still and it is a noticiable size. I was I guess what you would consider a low bmi'er and my mide section wasn't huge. Not sure if that makes a difference as to the appearance of the size but I don't rhink it should. Also, it is warmer over and around this incision. What to do??????????????:thumbup:

Hi all. I'm from georgia also. I live in atlanta. Its right outside of atlanta by six flags. I just had surgery on the 12th. I doing ok but have some concerns. My port incision seems so big. Its like half the size of a tennis ball and I thought it would have went down by now. So I'm a little worried at this point, I too was self pay and went to mexico to have my surgery. It also bothers that incision when i'm sitting straight up. I kind of have to lean back and stretch out that side of my body for it to feel better. Any advice fellow Georgians?

ok everyone, I'm a week out today. My incision where the port was placed, which is my biggest incision looks like half the size of a tennis ball.it shows through shirts and all. It looks like a big lump on my stomach. Should this be? Should it be this big in the first place? If so, should it have went down by now. Another reason for me to panic!:thumbup:

my port has not leaked yet but I was told that it may leak and that it was fine if it did. I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks

Hi all. I have a question. I'm one week out, has any else been told that there port incision is going to leak as part of the healing process? I don't think I have read that anywhere on here but this is what I'm being told. Anyone else? Thanks

I knoe what you mean. Its not pain like you need to go tot he hospital but boy does it hurt at that port incision. ouch! I'm trying to get through it though. No pain no gain.

ok, so reading these post makes me wonder. I had my suregery on nov.12th. I can drink well but when I cough hard it does hurt at the main incision. I think this is normal because I just had srugery on five days ago but I just want get some other opinions. Some times I read things on here and it sends me into a panic.:smile2: Thanks

HELLO ALL, I JUST HAD MY LAPBAND YESTERDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH. i'M HAVING WHAT I BELIEVE IS HEART BURN BUT i DIDN'T HAVE HEART BURN BEFORE SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT REALLY FEELS LIKE. bUT WHAT i'M EXPERIENCING NOW IS A BAD BURNING FEELING IN MY UPPER CHEST AND IT KINDA OF FEELS LIKE MY HEART IS BEATING HARD. iT LAST FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AT A TIME THEN FADES AWAY. bUT IT REALLY HURTS. IS IT GAS? i'VE READ MOST PEOPLE HAVE GAS IN THERE SHOULDERS THOUGH. I'VE BEEN TAKING ROLAIDS BUT ITS NOT HELPING. HELP PLEASE.:thumbdown:

well it kind of confuses me too becasue my doc says protein shake for breakfast and lunch but I can have some type of lean protein at dinner along with something green. (salad,peas, broccoli)
