I have had my third fill and finally feel restriction. Lately, one month after that fill, I have episodes of feeling extremely ill, with a pain that radiates into my jaw, followed by strong vomiting. Most of the time I eat slowly, chew well, and have no problem. I have lost about 21 pounds in 10 weeks, which seems slow. Is this normal, and is the thick mucus during a blockage normal. I will bring up a lot of that if I get stuck. Also, what does "pb" mean??? Thanks -

Thanks for all the advice and answers to my questions. I'll email my dr. tonight, and be sure to cut out the offensive foods and also chew everything really well. -
I was banded on August 6, 2008. I have lost 20 pounds since I began the pre-band diet, so I feel it is slow. My third fill is finally giving me good restriction. Recently some foods, even when chewed well, make me feel extremely sick, with pain like sensation that radiates into my jaw. I have vomited a few times like I have a virus. Afterward, I feel better. Is this a normal feeling when blocked? Also, what does "PB" mean, and is the very thick mucus normal when something is blocked?? Thanks.
