    I hear ya. I was banded 11/19 and gained everything I lost pre-op. At least you still have a loss. I am going in today for my 2nd fill. I am at 5cc in a 10cc band. Still no restriction. I had 3cc at surgery then on the 1st fill I had 2 more cc added. Still nothing. I am hoping today I can get some restriction. But I am with you, I can't believe this will be another weight loss failure for me. :party::frown:

    I have just been gaining. UGH!!! This sucks. Nice to know the fills you can't even feel. I just wish I could get some restriction. I kinds did the first day after my first fill but then it was gone. :( I go in tomorrow for my 2nd fill. I guess I will make another appt when I am there for a 3rd. I am at 5cc also. Feel nothing. Who was your nurse today? I had Deanne when I went in.

    Nice to know I am not alone. Thank you all for responding. It's hard to have had the surgery, and have friends and family see your not losing a thing. In my case gaining. I suppose I have not been eating the healthiest choices with the holidays and all. My DH keeps feeding me since he has been off for 2 weeks for the holidays. Makes breakfast in the mornings and snacks. UGH!! Hopefully when he goes back to work next week and I get my 2nd fill on tuesday hopefully that will work. I think when I go in on tuesday I am going to schedule my next fill a week later. I need to get this band working. :tongue_smilie:

    I feel the same way. I hope this was not a waste. I was banded 11/18 had my first fill on 12/16. I still have no resrtiction and have gained 7 pounds. I am scheduled for another fill on 12/30. I am not sure this will ever work for me. Did anyone else ever think that it would not work but eventually does?

    I was banded 11/19 with 3cc put in at the time of surgery. Then another 2cc on 12/16. I now have 5cc with no restriction. Gaining weight back, very depressing.:smile: I have another fill appt. on 12/30. I am hoping I can start losing here soon. This is terrible.:thumbup:

    Good Luck. I had my first fill last week. Still have no restriction and have gained 4 pounds. I don't think the band is for me. :thumbup::frown::thumbup:

    I wish I was at 6cc. My first fill was a week ago and they put 5cc in. I guess I already had 3cc from surgery. Still no restriction and gaining weight each day. :smile: I go in for my 2nd fill on 12/30. I am hoping that helps. Otherwise I feel this was all a waste of money.

    I just was banded 11/19. So I guess I am worried. You only lost 20 pounds in 3 months? Have you had any fills? I am hoping to lose more weight than that with the band. I think it is great you have lost but just worried that I am not going to lose very much weight on this.

    I am right there with you all. I am at 203 UGH!! Even though my ticker says 201. I am afraid to change it since I have gained. Just got my first fill on tuesday so I am hoping to be in onderland by Christmas. :huh2:

    I had sweaty palms when they were starting to do the fill. They have you raise your legs while laying down so the port raises up. The only thing I felt was a little pressure. Very weird. They said you can go in for another fill 1-2 weeks after one if you need it. She had me schedule the appointment just in case so I go in on the 30th. The way it is going I want another fill for sure on the 30th. I want to get to that sweet spot as soon as possible. I need to lose.

    Good luck on your interview. I have been looking for the past 3 months as well. Also wanted to get in at NWWLS since it is so close to my house. That is funny you also asked. Have you been out in the snow at all. Sure is pretty.

    There must be something wrong with me. It is so great to hear how everyone is doing. I have hardley lost anything afraid to update my ticker to add the weight I have gained. Just had my first fill on 12/16 and only fill a little restriction at 5cc. :ohmy: I am scheduled for another fill on the 12/30. Maybe then I can start losing. I have only been eating protein and veggies. I don't understand how everyone has such great weight loss and I am stuck. :w00t:

    I live in Washington and have Dr Robert Michealson who just won best doctor in Washington for 2008. He not only does the surgeries but also teaches them to other doctors.

    It's not that your not able to have them, it is you should not have them. It stretches the pouch. Which defeats the purpose of your surgery.

    Went in for my fill today. I did not even feel it. I worried for nothing. Whew. I guess I had 3cc already in from surgery. So she added 2cc so I now have a total of 5cc. The only thing I have noticed so far is when I ate my turkey deli meat and cheese for lunch it seemed to go down slower. I scheduled my next fill for the 30th. I can't wait to get this band working.

    The roads here are not bad. Just icy on the side streets a little. My doctor is about 1 mile away. We are suppose to get more snow tomorrow, so I am happy I am going in today. A little nervous. I have been watching too many "You Tube" videos on fills. I really hope I get some restriction today and can get back on track to losing. I will let you know how it goes. My appointment is at noon today. :blushing:

    I called today and bumped my fill up to tomorrow. I was suppose to go in on the 22nd for my first fill. I have been gaining and have very little restriction. I can't wait. Maybe I can get another fill in by the end of the month.

    I am so excited. Was suppose to have my first fill on the 22nd. Called the doctors office today and was able to get an appointment for tomorrow. Whew. Hopefully I can get some restriction and start losing.

    My first fill is on the 22nd and I am READY. Its been harder the last couple of days.[/quote gentylwind] Gentylwind, my first fill is also on the 22nd. I have also gained a few pounds as well. Nice to know I am not the only one. Hopefully once we start getting fills the weight will start to come off again.
