hahaha I hear the same sounds. My problem is that for the most part I'm never hungry so it's been really hard to get enough protein.

What kind of Protein shake do you drink. I can't find one that doesn't make me dry heave and I have 2 weeks left of clear liquids! I can't mix mine with milk either only Water which doesn't help the taste

Congrats on the weight loss china!!! I'm all for the new weight loss chalenge. So far this month I've lost 29lbs so one more lb til goal!

I also went to Dr.Fox and he really is great. i got my insurance to cover it so I only payed 1,500 out of pocket. I REALLY got lucky.

It's normal to be constapated but it's not a good thing. If you take benefiber it really helps with the constipation and the gas!

I think it definately depends on what you do.I was banded on 12/12. I start work again tonight and I wish I had more time, but I work retail and it's almost xmas! hahaha

Dr.Fox is amazing I just got banded by him on the 12th! he is an amzing surgeon with amazing credentials. I looked at many doctors in the area and he is definately the best! they might be closed for the hollidays. they are a really small office. here are 2 different numbers that I have for his office. 509-943-0710 509-943-0850 definately check out one of his seminars.

I would try calling your insurance and find out exactly why they denied you. mine just wanted me to do a 6month diet to show that I really will have results with the band and that I can stick to something. after 6months they said yes! so i would call them. Also go to your primary care physician and start complaining about ANYTHING that could be weight related. they will write it in your file and the insurance will like that. good luck with the apeal and dont give up!:huh2:

yeah I can't get down any more than 33oz at this point. I just seem to get that sloshy stomach feeling. glad to hear your surgery went well china!

I have a similar problem with one of my legs but is near a small patch of spider veins on my leg. The hospital told me that it was from tiny little veins breaking. They said it was nothing to worry about and that it was just from being on my feet all day at work.

Since muscle weighs more than fat you can actually gain weight and still lose inches. and the more muscle you gain the easier it is to lose fat.

you will do great! I didnt have to stop taking any meds so i don't know from personal experience about the weight gain. as for the new years challenge I'm offically down 20lbs so im going to set a smaller seccond goal of another 10lbs.

I had surgery yesterday and I'm 8lbs heavier than yesterday morning. and for the past 12 days I've been drinking all low sodium broths. I think its from the bloating and the 4-5 bags of potassium chloride I had in my IV.

I was also banded on the 12th! i was banded by Dr. Fox at Kennewick General Hospital. Him and everyone at the hospital were great! I can't believe I'm finally banded! I got in at noon. it was supposed to be outpatient but I ended up having to stay overnight because I had a lot of pain. the problem was that I had really strong core muscles so it was hard for them to get through them to do the surgery. they had to be rough to get through so now my stomach is really tender. also I woke up really quickly because of problems with nausea and pain. but the hospital was great and soon I was all caught up on the pain meds so it wasn't too bad after that. In the end I'm really glad that I spent the night in the hospital. I feel no hunger at all so far and for the first time since starting my 10 day diet I'm full! This is the best feeling.
