Thank you so much Jazie. Actually I am glad that you are older. It shows me that it is not too late. I have been a healthy fat person, if there is such a thing, but recently have been having some problems with my kidney that I haven't even gone to the doctor about. I just keep thinking wonder if it is something terrible and it is too late......truly I think subconsciously I deserve anything I get medically because I have been so bad to my body for so many years. It is funny, I remember when I was 19 and putting up the Christmas ornaments at home. I wrote my weight down on a piece of paper and secretly tucked it inside of an ornament, thinking the next year I would get it out of the box and laugh because I was quite sure I would be so much thinner..........right......the story of my life. Gosh, Jazie, sorry to go on and on. I guess I just needed to purge. Thanks for listening, and congrats on your weight loss. Keep being my role model!!!
  6. I have not been banded yet. Have to wait several months before my insurance allows me to have the procedure. I am 56 and a lot of the pictures I have seen on this site, everyone looks so young. Are there any folks my age that I could talk to, or a group that might be 50 and above? I admire each and everyone of you who have had the courage to have been banded. I have been overweight all of my life and I have finally figured out it is not going to happen without some outside help. Looking forward to my journey.
