    I too was thinking the same thing today. I am 3 months post op and have only had 2 fills with little to no restriction so far. I have no idea how many cc's are in my band. I care more about my restriction which I know may take quite a few more fills. I might ask on my doctor at my appt. next week just for fmi.:sad:

    HELLO New Year Hotties!! I was banded on the 7th and doing better now. I had horrible gas pain up until 2 days ago. I had lost about 19 pounds but since I started my protein-I gained back about 2 pounds. That happen to anyone?? My husband says its muscle. I'm on full liquids, going to pureed soon. I can't wait because my appetite is back now. Glad to hear everyone is doing good. PEANUTBAND-i

    I've got a lot of the same going on but mine is all GAS. It won't come out no matter how much I walk. They say it will take 5-7 days. I can handle the soreness from the surgery but the gas pains make me feel like I'm having a heart attack. I've used Gas-X but nothing helps. Anyone found a good solution??:cool:

    Yes, that's me. I was hoping to be getting prepared today but then I had a pipe bust and spent all day with emergency plumbers at the house.:thumbup: Despite everything I'm so excited, can't wait until tomorrow!!

    Hello, I just wanted to let you know to try the "Better Than Bouillon" for your broth, It's the best I've found so far. It's in a jar next to the bouillon cubes.

    I am going to drop the prescription off tomorrow. I have preop in the morning at Rex and then I am set for Wednesday. I start my 2 day liquid diet tomorrow so I plan to go to the store tomorrow and stock up on what I need. I have already bought my protein powder and vitamins from GNC. I'm getting a little nervous with it so close but more excited than anything. Ready to get healthy for the new year!!:thumbup:

    I have Dr Moran in Raleigh also, you are getting banded the day after me and was just curious if you had lost any weight before hand. I know he told me any weight I lost would make my liver not as thick. I've excercised some but not really lost anything. 3 Days until surgery!!!

    Cogratulations!! I can't wait until my surgery date Jan 7th. I was wonderng how you are doing now? I'm almost the same weight and age as you and I have 3 boys. My youngest being 1 1/2 yrs old. He's a big boy, about 30 pds and I'm wondering how long it will be before I can pick him up. I have stairs in my house which he's not big enough to go down yet. Hope you're doing well, keep us posted on your progress, I would love to know what to expect.

    Hello, Just got my date today and it's Jan. 7th so now I'm a little nervous, Hope I'm picking the right surgery for me. Does anyone out there have diabetes and considered the gastric??:rolleyes2: I was told it would practically cure my diabetes but I think it's a drastic surgery compared to the band. Any thoughts would help. Thanks.
