  4. Hi there yes it has been a long time since I was on line. Thanks for the e-mail and check in. I had my band on Nov 28 2008 and I have lost 75 lbs and I am off all medications, my diabeties is gone, my high BP is gone and I am looking fine. Now I wear a size 8 in a pant and 12 in a top It use to be 18 on bottom and 2 X on top. I think this decision helped me live longer so i have no regrets. It is the best thing ever. I still crave foods I should not eat from time to time but only treat myself once in a while. I got something stuck once and the DR fixed it no problem by taking out my Fluid asking me to drink a big glass of Water and replacing the fluid. I think it was corn on the cob that got stuk. Love to hear how the rest of you are doing. Kirsty:tt1::thumbup::thumbup:

  6. Hi I was banded November 28th 2008 1 year ago I have lost 40 lbs since my band and 10 lbs before surgery. I work out 5 hours a week and I am doing the biggest looser at my gym. I am finding it very slow. I don't want another fill at this time as my meals come up quite a bit, especially if I eat to fast. I am loosing slowly but I keep going in the right direction. Any clues as to how to get it off faster? kirsty49:eek:
  7. Hi mom2two I to have a problem at dinner time. I think perhaps I am eating more than a cup of food at that time. Perhaps because i am talking to my husband I don't get the full signal. Something I will watch this week.Morning and lunch are just fine for me. good luck Kirsty49
  8. Hi ddgalarza what size is your band and how much do you have in it? Kirsty49
  9. I still weigh the same., I am going tomorrow for another fill. I have about 4.3 in my band so I need more. Kirsty
  10. :cool2:Hi 2-loose-fluff Great Weight loss CONGRATS it gives me hope. What are you doing to get such a great weight loss. I was banded 28/11/08 and I have only lost 21 lbs. What would a normal day of eating look like for you and how much do you have in your band. Also what size is your band? Mine is a 9 cc band and I have 4 and a bit in it.; I can still eat normal if I let myself. kirsty49
  11. :tt2: What is boddybugging? Kirsty49:cool2:
  12. :lol:I am going crazy trying to update my ticker can anyone help me. I click on it and nothing happens. I try going into ticker factory.com and can't find an update page. Thanks Kirsty49
  13. :tongue:thanks for all the good advice I have not hit the sweet spot yet. I have a 9cc band and have 3.7 in it. I go back on March 3rd and I hope to get restriction then. I get the odd BP(2 times) if I eat fast because I am hungry other than that nothing. Kirsty49
  14. :scared2:yes it sounds like you are and it is not easy. Try and stay away from liquid foods but drink lots of water in between meals (make sure it is 1 to 1 1/2 hous after you eat) Try and increasing your protein I use protein drinks. (24 grams of protein) Try and stay away from the bad carbs they make you want to eat and cause cravings. ( bread pastries crackers potatoes etc) The South beach way of eating is a good one till you get filled. For now it is just like dieting The fills will make a diffrence. Cheers and stay positive:thumbup: Kirsty
  15. I got my firs fill today and all is well. I felt restriction and did not feel hungry for about 5 hours. Kirsty
