Protein Pills, NSV & an Offer

Be careful with protein pills as they do not for the most part get you enough proteins. You are better off getting the profect liquid bullets i have had them they are pretty good, or just get a tasteless powder that you can add with food. Some of the protein tablets I have seen require you to take 6 tablets to only get 6 grams of protein. Yikes. Check these puppies out they might be able to help you with your search for the perfect protein. Bariatric Advantage - Protein Powders= It wouldnt hurt to look. But then again I like the protein chocolate powder shakes has always been my most favorite.

    Protein Pills

I guess the point I am trying to make is the protein pills are not very good I mean 6grams of protein for 6 tablets, when you can get profect liquid for 50 grams of protein in one shot. Even the Bariatric Advantage high protein meal replacement gets 27 grams of Proteins per serving. So in some cases there is a protein pill but its not going to get you anywhere. I seriously do not even know why they make them.

    Supplements

I agree with the above post, always do your research. Some people take different kinds of over the counter Vitamins and it is not good for them it actually makes them difficient. go to www.bariatricadvantage.com and even call them they will help answer any questions you have about nutrition.

    Supplements

Yeah taking Vitamins is something that should be taken seriously, and one should always do their own research, trusting doctors are awesome, but one should always do their own research, plus its your body the only one you will get on this planet. Always take vitamins created fo the bariatric patient over the counter usually has lots of sugars and it is created for the general public. Here's one site go here and you can even maye call their 800 number and ask around. www.bariatricadvantage.com DO YOUR RESEARCH. AS THE OP HAS.

    New here just curious

I guess we should do whatever our doctors say and that is important, but it should not stop any of us to do our own research as I did mine loo at this and let me know what you guys think. It is pretty interesting and I do not think it cold hurt anyone. Bariatric Advantage - Bariatric Advantage VitaBand Chewable Multivitamin - Lemon Cream (180ct)
  19. B-12 is always good to take and it will def help with energy, sublingual would be the most convenient way to take it as it does not require a doctors visit and you can do it yourself, as you already know sublingual is something you put underneath your tongue and let it dissolve. It has proven that it works. Go to this website and it shows info on the b-12. Bariatric Advantage - Bariatric Advantage Sublingual B-12 - Black Cherry (30 Count)

    vitamins

Taking Vitamins especially after surgery should not be taken lightly, and the right vitamins should always be considered. Flintstones, centrum are good but for the general public. One should always take the vitamins that are made for the bariatric community. Always theres choices out there my most favorite is on this site Bariatric Advantage - Nutritional Supplements, Vitamins, Proteins, and Help for Gastric Bypass, Distal, Lap Band, Realize, Stomaphyx and Duodenal Switch Surgery Patients

    Protein Pills

Sadly enough there is no such thing as a protein pill. But it seems that taste is your biggest factor, you should try and getting some of the tasteless ones that you can mix with everything. Search around...heres one site that have helped alot of people it might just help you. Bariatric Advantage - Bariatric Advantage TUB Meal Replacement (Unflavored)

    Question about PillS

Wow, posts like these scare me. Bariatric patients should not take any children Vitamins as they are not made for us and have you seen the sugar content on those things. There are companies out there that make them specifically for the bariatric comunity. www.bariatricadvantage.com go to that site and do your reaserch they also sell some vitamins to, if taste is a factor I know most companies including this give out free samples good luck.
