I developed it after I had my knees replaced. The surgeon said it was a reaction to the Titanium. When it started, It drove me up the wall, and it hurt ! So the surgeon told me to get up, and walk when this starts. So morning, noon, night, I got up and walked to try and walk this off. Sometimes it could last for hrs.. In about 3 yrs. it tamed down, but it still flairs up once in a while. Then I get up and walk it off.

If you ave a blender. I would try some protein, milk or water, add a banana, and some peanut butter just until it's not a thin shake, more like thin - medium. If its all blended well,"and not chunky!" That might help firm it up. Otherwise you have to deal with water in/water out.

So I just bought this stuff called Carb Solutions Protein shake Mix, chocolate flavor. And WOW it is NASTY. Verses Muscle Milk Light. First I see a Big Difference in Titles here..... But if some how I misunderstood you ! (Which I can't see how.) Then I Definitely would apologise... But I don't see the mistake. You looked at the jug and said "YEP that's the stuff." It's called MUSCLE MILK LIGHT not CARB SOLUTIONS Protein Shake MIX. They are not even made by the same company????? I'll tell you one thing. I do not like their plane chocolate either. But that's me, and were not talking about the same companies here. You take it for what you want, and I sure don't mean to offend anyone. But I know this stuff is good, and good for you. I lost over 120lbs with this stuff, and I'm not about to quit something that works. I have a variety of flavors, and I enjoy at least 1 shake a day. Hope this settles down the mistakes. Shirley.

I knew I had one before I went in... I was hoping he wouldn't see it, but he did. It was the size of a fist, He took a hot rod and seared it, which closed it completely. He also removed my Lymph Nodes in the Groin (I MEAN OUCH !) that he thought were cancerous. They were not. He billed my ins. co., and they paid for everything.

Does anyone know, if Medicare covers fills? I called Medicare today, and they are clueless ! Why am I not, Surprised....

O.K Thanks. I just want to know because mine will be 5 yrs. old this year, and it is in great shape. I hope it stays that way.

I have a 3:00 apt. to meet my new surgeon, and his staff. Also I am suppose to get a slight fill. "I hope so, I'm getting hungrier more often." So it's time for a fill. I will also find out if he wants to make himself some money by changing this 4cc band to a newer model. I'll see what he has to say. But this one has good restriction. So I am not really interested. I am interested in seeing if his Teacher in WLS (MY OLD SURGEON) gets brought up in conversation. Ill be back later, Shirley.

Your add was for carb solution to which you said was nasty. But yet you say You can't beat the price for this nasty stuff ha ha. If you don't like it just say you don't care for it At all! But the nasty stuff Ha Ha. to me is what I see as a smart A*s.

Drink easy though, or it might come up. Slow is a better chance of getting it lose from being hung up, and you will feel it go down.

Eat Proteins Egg salad, cottage cheese, Protein shakes, etc.... But go easy, you don't want to hurt your stomach you don't want to overload, and hurt something. Look on line for protein foods, and find whats soft like yogurt, and enjoy it. It will help tame the Hunger Beast. If they gave you a diet of calories a day, then don't forget to count all that in. Isn't it nice to loose inches, and get new cloths ! Getting stuck is part of being banded. You have to learn to pulverize your meats, and other foods that you will learn,get easily stuck. Then you have to find a way that works for you, to get it to go down, or come up. I totally relax my body because tension will not help. Then I drink slowly ! warm Water "IT"S FASTER THEN MAKING TEA !) This will take some time, but usually you will feel it drop into the stomach, sometimes it might come up. But follow through with the water until you are clear. Now that's what I do. If any of those tips help you. Then use them. Congrats on the change in cloths sizes:0) Shirley.
