I'm sure you will get a good Dr. to take his place, and then with a fill, you will be on your way. Between the fills, (I HAVE HAD3) last one .1 it's a small 4cc band. and the medication being in the Normal Range, Walking 3 times a week, and trying to stay under 1200 calories Whew ! For me,,,, There are 3 stages of Hiccups ! 1. If I Hiccup 1 time, it means STOP you had enough. 2. If I Hiccup twice, it means don't have anymore, because it's already full ! 3. If I have the Hiccups, then I have the Hiccups. This is so TRUE !

I know your hungry, and old habits are hard to break. That's a key reason that you probably got banded. The exercise of the elbow to the mouth ain't making it. You take a risk of hurting yourself. What will your Dr. say if you gain weight instead of lose it? If you said what you were doing,, what do you think he/she would say to you. You need to get it in gear, and get serious. Or you will be disappointed, and your surgeon pissed off,and Disappointed. So now you think about it, and figure it out. Start with WHY DID I GET BANDED?

Protein shakes should be giving you energy , Period ! Also,you should talk to your Dr. about a good Vitamin to help keep you peppy..

You need the seminar for educational purposes, gather Info, maybe meet your surgeon, and the staff. Once they are all done, and they ask if there's any questions in General... Then ask about scheduling your appointment. They will probably tell you to call, and schedule. So if you meet the nurse who does the scheduling, give her your name, and tell her you will call in the morning.

I was Banded back in 2006. Back then there was only 1 type of Band. I see now, everyone that is Banded, has a different size Band. I want to know if there are still any of you out there with the 4cc Band? If so,, How do you like it and how was your weight loss with this band? Only those Banded in the states please, because I have been told that they use that little band in Mexico still, and it's full of problems. So no Disrespect to the Mexican Bandsters. Just looking for those from the States.

My Husbands Family thought I was crazy to want to have this done. People close to the Family, a few of them had RNY, regained the weight, then died of Kidney Failure. Another One died to Mal absorption, so she starved to Death. So they had it confused with RNY.So I waited till they past on because it was such a big thing...... Now the Husband knows it is the best thing . The compliments from him are nice too. But yep ! I been there.

I understand the fear in it. We all have it, but I never slept soooo good. Then it's over in a flash, and they wake you up in the Recovery Room. There is no problem at all ! Now of course the Medical Profession will always tell you, that their is a risk with surgery. Thats True ! But there is a risk whenever you go out in a car, or cross the street too.. They have it down to a science.

I think the site got screwed up !

When I got weighed at my surgeons office last Monday. I see I am down to 255, some people are starting their journey around their or lower!) My heaviest weight was 356. I tried on size 20 Jeans, still to tight. So I need some 22s in Jeans. I posted a add on our clothing exchange, I hope to get some hits. I could use a couple of pair for the fall here in Northern, Michigan. Up here some of the branches are already starting to change. That's to early for me. I am 5'3" short.

If you didn't end up on the floor in agony, then you didn't tear and end up with a Hernia... KEEP IT UP,AND YOU WILL BE SORRY ! You broke the scabbing loose is my guess, and it pulled on your incisions, so they hurt ! It's probably not major just superficial, but !!!! I am no Dr., and I don't have x-ray eyes. I would give them a call, and tel them what happened.

Well congrats on the band ! No use crying over spilled milk. Just don't do something like that again, you need to heal ! If it's only your conscious hurting, and your not in pain, I wouldn't worry about it. I forgot what I slipped up on,, but yes I did, and only 1 time. Shirley

H*LL NO ! I did this for my health, to stay alive. I wouldn't be here now or even go back 4 years. I was drowning in my own fluid. So you know I would not have lasted. So a fraud NO WAY ! I'm alive, and I work at my Health every day. There's nothing Fake about that.. If I died tomorrow, because of this tool,, I know that I have lived.....

Well I am so glad you like your band, because I know I like mine..... They should have a site for 4cc bands because they are different. Also a reunion for the original Band would be nice. Shirley.
