Congrats on that baby girl ! Were both Virgos, her birthday is a week past mine So Happy Birthday to her. I started over, was banded 10/31/2006. Had bad after care, lost my job, and Ins., So now that I have Ins., I found a real good surgeon in Northern, Michigan. I'm at my fill line through Fluoroscope. So I try to stay between 800-1200 calories a day, I walk 3x a week, and I belong to myfitnesspal.com food and exercise journal, and a lot of people from here are there also. I started in January dieting at 1200 calories a day. Then by March I had a fill to bring me to my fill line. Basically that's it. But it can be done ! Sign up with myfitnesspal.com it's free! I'm thinking about it... She insisted that I go to the Hospital NOW ! ! ! So I went. Release paper says follow up with her in 2-4 days. She called the Hospital, and said that she would see me in 3 W E E K S ! Well,,,,, if I can wait this long, what in the world did I have to run like H*LL for???? I called today, and said I want a appointment next week. I'm not going to get screwed around,,, She's in for a ear full. But my paperwork should come in tomorrow for new Doctors. But yep I am thinking of it.

I drank Decaf. Tea, sip on cup of soup by Lipton (CREAM OF CHICKEN), Light Lemonade, Fruitsicles, thinned out my shakes, broth, and water.

Yep !! I think I have to switch Doctors... She gets a lot of Medicaid patients, and Free Patient care, that the Gov. pays the Clinic yearly for their care. Now,,, in comes someone with Ins., and you plan to strike it $$$$ RITCH $$$$... -----> Well, not on my time or Ins... That's one way to help keep getting the rates jacked up higher. With B.S. like this going on ! If I were a business owner,,,, my rates for Ins. would probably have to go up too.. Talk about misuse of Ins., Not to mention how the patient has to feel threw this whole thing.(AND YOU KNOW THERE IS NOTHING WRONG !) So I put in a call to a couple of places around town, and I will look them up, see if they interest me, fill out paper work, then see if I interest them or not. Then take it from there.

I installed google chrome/adware, and contracted a worm. They say in category this worm goes from stage A-G. Mine was a I.... Good guy though, my neighbor got me up and going. So I'm glad I have a Tech for a neighbor... Be careful on the install if you do it..... I think for now, I'll live with it,,,

that depends on you, your band size, and how much your getting for a fill. If it's done under fluoroscopy, then they can take you straight to your fill line.

I know that whenever they fill or unfill the band. I am getting easily stuck for the first 2 weeks. How I don't know if this is the NORM ! My original Surgeon said that I was to sensitive, "THAT MAY BE..." so I try to be careful, drink the warm tea to help open me up, and most of all be patient. This last fill of .1 and a quarter cc, was the first time I ever slimed since I was banded. 10/06 banded. So this is now a whole new chapter in my book. It finally slowed down for me as of yesterday. "KNOCK ON WOOD". So I'm sure your all swollen, so take it easy ! You will eat again, but first help yourself out, the best you can. You should let your surgeon know what went on though. I'm sure he can help out.

I to got a fill the end of July, and for the first time I am experiencing sliming occasionally. So I switched to warm Tea, or cup of soup to open me up in the morning. This to is new to me. I use to eat a egg, and some Turkey Bacon for Breakfast with NO ! problem. Now ! ! ! I wouldn't even give that a thought. Once I open up, and say I want lunch, I might have some soup,and Tuna salad. But by about dinner time, I am good... Then we start all over again the next day. I think once all the swelling will go down, and some weight loss is accomplished, That it might loosen up a little. I think it will be a long time before I get filled again, because I think I'm where I should be. I never even slimed before? Well I do now... so I have to learn to stay with warm fluids for a while.

Flintstones Complete with CHOLINE. I started them over 5 yrs. ago, and I still take them. No Bruises, Lots of Energy. You can always print out a coupon, and save a dollar or 2. The good thing is that if one place doesn't have it on sale, some one else usually does.

It never got installed, instead my screen went black, and I lost all my start up Icons. Also it's telling me that my hardware is Damages or Corrupt. I have tried to back my computer up to a earlier date, hoping to avoid the problem. This is the first time, that I could not get that to go threw, it just crashes. (now mind you I don't use that unless necessary...) So anyone that is a wiz in the computer, I am retired, and not a computer settings person. If you can get back to this laptop with some info, on what to do. I will try so that I can get my Icons back. Even my Internet Explorer is gone. So a cry for HELP !!!!! 11

Welcome aboard ! I saw your surgery date, and Flashed Back in time.... I was banded 10/31/06 So almost 5 years now. I lost weight, regained it on a empty band over around 3 yrs... Now with a New Dr., and the proper fill level, I' working at it again. But I like your date.

That's different though. You got the O.K. from your Doc. to try different foods, she has not, and as a result she is saying she is just Depressed because she knows she shouldn't be doing it. Sure we have all made mistakes somewhere down the line, but she needs to be in touch with her Doc, get the O.K., and she will feel a whole lot better about the whole thing. I know that's not that hard to do.

Hope you enjoyed it. I think you can still eat Chinese, I know I do... You just don't need a whole buffet full, So pick from a menu. Child's portion, show your Bariatric Card and save in price too.

Here is a good tip ! Since it school time Double pocket folders should be cheap, so buy yourself one. Every time you go to a Dr. Tell them to give you a print out of your visit, and it must have your weight on this. (IF YOU MISS, YOU START COUNTING FROM MONTH 1 AGAIN) remember that ! Keep all those copies, and what ever else you have to get. If your weighed,,, you want a print out ! Keep it in the file, and when it's time to hand it over to the Ins. person, It's all there. You should also make copies for yourself, then you have a copy of everything.
