Turn your fridge, and freezer to the coldest point ! So if it goes off, your stuff will last a little longer. You can readjust it later. Also fill your bathtub with fresh Water, for drinking or bucketfuls for the Bathroom if this pertains to you. If you loose all power, and you see the situation is not good, and will take a long while to come back on ! Make sure you shut your gas off, and the electric. This is for safety, you don't need a houseful of Gas Fumes, and then throw the Electric on. Not a good idea......... Good Luck to all of you on the East Coast. Were all hoping and praying for you.

This October I will be 5 yrs. Banded. The sinus issue is so bad this year, that I had to go in for a slight unfill. This started in the spring, and has not let up yet. I take a sinus pill for 1 time a day, but half way through the day, it still kicks in. I was all Flemmed up, couldn't swallow my shakes, chewable Vitamins. food was out the question, maybe around 7:p.m. when the band would open up a little. I would try some Soup. So I went in, and they took out a little, made a big difference.

For me,, I go about 5 hrs. without even thinking of food. If I get under 3 hrs. I see I'm hungry more often, and sometimes feel like I am starving. That's when I go in for a slight fill.

It's blended in your stomach right ? So yes you did the right thing. If you use instant potatoes, read the back of the package, and it will tell you 1/2 cup = so may calories. That's different then a real potato. So just look it up, and click on it or,,, enter it if it's not already in memory. Good Question..

If you were losing a 1/2 Lb. a day,, that is Fantastic, but,,,, once filled , that might slow down for you. Maybe not in the beginning, but it will slow down to near or what it should be 1-2 lbs. a week... It is a s l o w go. But I think you are doing just fine. You started eating, so things kinda stopped ! Just Like a Diet ! So when your system gets use to what you are now eating, it will start back up. Enjoy your weight loss, and Cindy is wright ! Don't worry about that scale... Enjoy yourself instead..

Keep track of stuff, view what other people are eating to, you can view other peoples Diary. and help get some ideas. Give it a shot, a lot of us are over there. Will see you there. There's a lot of things that you can buy over the counter, that would probably help. I would call the Di's Office though, and see what he wants to do. Phone in a script, or tell you what to buy. The nausea is a common thing. Mine had me chew PEPCID COMPLETE, and it worked. So I would check first.

I went to fill centers USA. just to look for a fill place if you get your surgery. only one is in Gadsden 230 miles away----> 4 hr. trip from the Ozark. If you move on, you get copies of all your records, and you make copies of them for your self. Once you give them to someone, they won't give them back. So if you have to turn in another set to a different Dr., again a set for them, and a set that's yours. That's a must....... Let me know how it goes, I'm pulling, and praying for you, Shirley.

Go on the Internet and look p the normal size of a Human Liver. You call them first thing in the morning, and you want some answers, or go down there. If you have to you show up for that surgery, because it was already scheduled. Call your Doctor, and get some answers. Write the questions down, and get some answers. Flintstones Complete with CHOLINE. They are chewable, and they keep you pepped up. I have been on them for 6 years now, and NO ! complaints here...

My Oldest Brother lives in Virginia, and Commutes to D.C., where he works. I told him the same thing.. You need anything let us know. There's always the mail to get something out for someone, and we can all help.... I may be a long way away, but if your house is destroyed (HEAVEN FORBID) My doors are open, to help out.

I don't worry about the scale ! In fact I don't even own one ! ! I get weighed at the Dr. Office, and with a very Happy face, I wright that in my purse calendar. Because I can keep track of how I am doing. My surgeon, and Dietitian explained that when you stop losing weight, you will lose inches. When you stop losing inches, the body will jump back in, and start losing weight. Were in this for the long haul. Don't let it get you down, Because you will always have other challenges that will come your way. Plateaus. to tight, need a fill bad, etc.. Take it easy, and focus on what you think you need to do. Anything canned, you can probably have, and some in moderation, sugar free anything like puddings Jello. Pasta, Sauce, If you can eat Pasta. Grill anything that Defrosts, and if some stay frozen longer then others, Grill them another day. Think Survival mode... Just don't overdue it. I had a similar problem, they thought ! So they filled me under Fluoroscopy, and added a Acrylic to plug any Leaks if there is one. I am good to go. Unless it's falling apart, like the tubing coming apart (you would be in pain). This can be fixed from the outside. Just passing it your way, since you asked if any one had this kind of a problem.

I have Medicare, and I drive over 100 miles one way to see my Dr... You should contact medicaid in your state, and see who they recommend, or what they might recommend, and will it cover the fills at the Hospital that they recommend. Also ask about aftercare if there is a problem, and see what they tell you. Good Luck, Shirley.

We pay good Money to these Ins. Companies. They pay these Dr.'s and Medical Facilities a fare amount of money, and they settle for it ""AGREEMENT" If they were not getting paid decently ? No one would want to choose that field to work in. So with that in mind, why should you dig deep, and pay extra money ? It's not like we agree to pay them only so much for Ins., and they are agreeing to it. We pay the full Bill ! So why should you pay extra ? I would check with my Ins., and see if I were required to pay this fee for Bariatric Surgery ! If not ! ! ! Turn his Greedy @ss in to your Ins. Company.

This can be "UNREAL" . I am looking for 22 jeans so that I have some for the Fall. I have 20's, but they don't fit yet. My niece gave me a pair of CREPE Slacks at a size 18... So I'll tell you what ! We really need to bring the jobs back to this Country for making Cloths, and everything..... It was a Great Feeling, and still is. But I don't know about these cloths sizes anymore. The Husband went in for the Tumor on his spine, and so far it's Benign... :broken_heart: We will see what the Neurosurgeon has to say.... I hope she is right....

Usually,, when you get a fill that keeps you full (GOT TO GET THERE FIRST WITH FILL AFTER FILL PROCESS,) You usually stay full for 4-5 hours, sometimes 6.hours. But if you are hungry every 1 1/2 - 2 hours, then it's time for you to call your Doc's Office, and schedule a fill' Go to youtube and look it up, you will see the surgery, and you can look up the Adjustments or Fills.
