Call your Dr. for NEW MEDS., because these are not working ! No sense in suffering. Cover the cuts with zip loc baggies, and Water proor surgical tape. It worked for me.

Probably the Gas, and hunger combined. You need to call your Doc's Office, and get some Meds. that work ! There is no reason for suffering with that. Walking is the best thing. As you move, the Gas moves threw, and out the body. You will feel much better when it's gone... But call your Dr...... Also,,, I taped Zip Lock Baggies over the incesions, when I showered. Surgeon suggested it, and it worked. Just make it fast, and prepare to dry the area quickly with a clean dry towel.

You can't get more Precise then this.. I would be willing to bet that my Surgeons office would like to have a copy of this.

I am always on the tight side When I get filled, it takes a few days to a week for the swelling to go down. So its liquids for 3 days, mushies for a day, then try food. If after a week, you are to tight to tolerate it, then go in for a un fill. As you lose weight, and your stomach shrinks, that band will become loser. So I am tight in the Morning, Early Afternoon. But come the evening when this opens up, I can eat, and get my nutrition in. I'm not hungry ! So that's a good thing. This morning I was able to eat a Jumbo Poached Egg, and I am content with that. Yesterday it rained all day long. I could not eat a thing until the evening. The weather, and stress can play a big part in that band tightening up on you. Just thought I would pass this along.

My surgeons rule is to move slowly ! That means 3 days of fluids, 1 day of mushies, then try food. If you have a problem after that ! Then he wants to see you. This works if you are sensitive, and I know I am..

I get them when I eat. If I hiccup 1 x = stop eating, you had enough. . 2 x = you over did it stop, or be sick. Otherwise it's just plain hiccups. My body lets me know, and I listen to it. Shirley.

Yep it's a common thing. It takes 3-4 fills before you realy have good restriction, and you start to just drop the weight. So don't get Discouraged. This comes in time. Another thing,, if you watch your calories, and only eat what your Dr. has told you. When you stop losing weight, you start losing inches. That's the way this works. So sometimes it's not plateau, your still losing. This goes back, and forth throwout your weight loss journey.. So Breath, and be patient. It will come with the fills. Have a good night, Shirley.

Were on here for support ! I'm sure yu know you must do what you have too. Anastesia with this surgery is down to a Patton. So you don't have to worry about that. It's all a vary smooth surgery, with pain meds. to keep you feeling almost pain free, until you are pain free. If yur family doesn't know how to approach you on the matter, don't worry about it. They might not know enough about it to talk.. With what you have learned, or in your books from your seminar, you might want to educate them a little ???? That's up to you. When I was first Banded 10/31/06. I was so happy that I spread the word, because I was know 1/2 the size, and loving it. They came out in Groves ! Can't you do it yourself ? Why do you have to have Surgery, don't you have any willpower ? I heard it all. I was sorry that I opened my mouth, because of the peoples ignorance about the band. Mostly these were people that I worked with. and loved the fact that I started to looked so good, (SO THEY SAID) but then would stick the knife in my back. So this time around, I told no one ! It's none of their business how I live, and what I do. People are just amazed at the weight loss, and approve it. So they see me in stores every now and then, and see the difference, at then compared to the last time they seen me. So a lot of NSV's going on by the General Public, and Friends. I am Happy when I see the Cloths size change. That does it for me. I would say don't worry about it, because they really don't know what they are talking about. Your the one that has to tie those shoes (never will forget that..) So you know what must be done. They will get use to it, and you will also find out who your friends are. Shirley.
