Good to be back ! Something happened because I could not log on ? So The Administrator "Alex" Thank You for your time Alex ! emailed me, and said the problem was fixed, and I could now Log on. He was right ! So I made it back. Now a tip on how to get my icons back. Where to look for them, or if I have to start from scratch, I can upload them. I can't seem to find my way around though. So any tips please would help. Also I need to create my new ticker ! So where to put it ? I think it's in Accounts..... I'll see. Nice to be back, Shirley.

Wow Was that strange ! I know what Identity theft feels like now too. I couldn't get back on elcee to see what you had to say. They kept shutting me down, or blocking me from getting on, I guess to check the situation out, and then fix it. Is God Great or what ? Well,, it was like no one on this earth could have done that ! So it went through someplace else. Because I was completely eliminated ! I don't get it. I have to try to figure out where my icons are, and how to get to them. Because that Blank Pic is about as Blank as I feel. Humming Bird your rite ! I'm always looking ,reading, and writing. So this was very strange indeed. Any advice on locating my icons? Try Muscle Milk light. it doesn't have that protein taste. As far as the runs,,, well it's water in, and water out. you can't change that, unless you thicken it up.

Always think small, concentrate, and chew till it's Applesauce. You need to pay closer attention to what, and how your doing it. Never try to hurry up and swallow something, just so you can get your 2 cents in. Your bound to get stuck. Take your time, ,,,,,,, find time for conversation, while you relax. This is a good time to put the fork down. When your ready, then take a small bite, and focus on what your doing. You won't miss the conversation, your ears will pick up on everything. So take your time.

You have a few things going on here that can be looked at. 1. you have some Medical issues going on that are DANGEROUS. Sometimes the Ins. Company will cut your wait time. But check with them. 2, If you have been going to your Dr. or Dr. and a specialist for the last 6 months (NOT MISSING A MONTH !) and was weighed at each visit. That info can be submitted to your surgeons Nurse who does all the Ins., and she might be able to push it threw. Ask at the Meeting on 01/05. If not ask about the first one with the Illness. Cocobean is knowledgeable also. If you have to do it all space out all your Dr. Appointments so that you see at least 1 Dr. a month, and always get weighed. Also get a print out of the visit, put it in a folder, and turn it in in 6 months to the Ins. Nurse or whoever is in charge. Make copy's for yourself, and start a pocket folder for yourself. I got a email wishing me a Happy 1 year Anniversary ! I said Thank You, and I appreciate that, but it's actually wrong ! I was Banded 10/31/2006... So their calculations are a little off. I have contacted them before on this matter, but never a response So Happy New Year to me!!!, and Happy "make believe" 1 year Bandiversary to me also... I just had to start the year off with a Bang... LOL

I did allot of Tuna, egg, chicken salad. anything pureed/moisture in it, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, oatmeal.

Less calories, and more calories burned with harder working out will do it. Sometimes they go on there own.

I am saddened to hear this about your Mother, and Friend. My Husband has had Kidney Cancer, and had the right Kidney removed 5 years ago. He is in extreme pain all the time, and always very sick. Especially from GOUT. This is very painful, and lasts about 7-10 days each attack. His other Kidney is functioning at less then 50%. He will turn 57 on the 15th. but he looks like a Old Man ! The other day he took me by his side, and said you know I'm slowly dieing don't you! I said no, "I Know he's dieing !" people live on Dialysis all the time. He looked at me as if I was in Denial, and just don't think that he will die. Well I know better then that. It's all just a matter of time, everything will slowly shutdown, and he will die. His Mother went the same way, and I can see how sick he really is. So this is Heartbreaking to watch. I don't know if this will make it easier for you, now that you know of the suffering involved with living after having Renal Cell Carcinoma. Yes it gave him a few more years, but it's not living ! He tells me all the time. That he hurts inside so bad from the Kidney removal. if he would have known this, he would have rather died. I have been hearing this, and seen the visits to all the specialists, and know one can do a thing for him. I feel for you, I really do. It hurts to bury your Mother. I know this for sure. You have to think about you now. So please take care of yourself, and be proud of your accomplishments. Shirley.

If your swollen cold is great ! If it's just not moving try a warm "NOT HOT!" cup of Tea or broth or warm Water, and just drink slowly down. It will push threw, and dissolve. Then if swollen stay on fluids for a day. Just remember Cold makes the muscles tighten up, and warm relaxes them. This is important to remember for the future, with the band.

Boy that's the Truth ! I also notice it more in early morning if I have sinus drainage. I been reading different posts, and I see there is allot of that going on now !

I keep giving them my old email address, and tell them to look me up ! I was here ! I can even look up my old posts as a October Bandster 2006. Hi ! Welcome Aboard.... You made a wise choice to come on to this site. Were all pretty good about helping each other out, and listening also. Check out the pre op, and post op sites. This way you can read up on stuff that will be all new to you, and learn from different peoples experiences. Also everyone that is Banded, things work differently for everyone! What works for 1 person might not work for someone else. I think that is the most important thing to learn, that everyone's situation is different. I'm fine elcee! Thanks for asking though.... I was pertaining to the patient that started this Thread, with Cocobeans comment. So I gave my 2 cents on why I don't believe that the body is rejecting it. Instead it sounds like something is wrong to me, especially with all the pain she's in. But Thank You for asking ! I'm thinking,,,, with extreme pain ! Something else had to be wrong with the Tubing possibly ! If it were Rejection,, Why bother to put a Band back in ? It would only be rejected again,. "I would think..." because the body will not tolerate the Implant. I'm not sure how the body will react to a foreign object in it. "pain, or feeling sick." But with pain ! I can't help but think that something was wrong with that band. "MY OPINION ONLY.".

Call your Dr...... Let him/her know what's going on. If it's worse ! Go to the Hospital where you had your surgery at. They should have a Bariatric Surgeon on call.

My Surgeon made it clear. he is paid for the job, and paid for the fills. Any other type of work that he does, your Ins. Company has to pay, or you will pay cash. He is in this for business, It's what he does. So NO! Charity, Repairs, anything... He is paid for it all. Well he did my surgery, and did a Great job. He was Terrible in aftercare, so I got another surgeon. But that's my experience. That's why I said In my previous post. It's Greed from the Surgeon, and he would even agree to that. Money is everything, and Reputation means nothing.
