Hello, I have a question for you. I really like Dr. S. when you went to see him in his new office, did you have to pay for your fills (now that he is not part of the other office)?

Hi Erica,
I'm doing great, I'm down 45 pounds already. I'm pretty happy with my progress. I've had 4 fills already. I went in yesterday hoping to have another fill, but this new doctor i saw said he didn't want to give me one. He thught my progress was good.
I'd love to get together this summer, just let me know when.

Hi Erica,
Your progress is great. I'm happy for you. I haven't done so well this months. I go in for my fourths fill and weigh in on Tuesday, March 3rd. I'm nervoius I think I'm only down like 2 pounds. Next months will be better.
We should get together one day I would love that. It's nice that we all used Dr. S. I live in Burbank but I'm flexible to drive. Maybe we could meet in between.

Hi Sara,
I am very happy with Dr. Salimita. I got my surgery on November 4th 2008. So far I'm down 25 pounds or so. My surgery was great, no complicating at all. Tje doctor is very good. I did here a negative feedback too regarding the office but I think ti was blown out of proportion. I like the office and the doctor. feel free to call me if you want to talk. 949-939-4084

We"ll do great, don't listen to any negative people and try to surround yourself with positive support. I love my band and am excited to lose weight. I'm down 22 in 2 months. -

I was banded November 4th and I'm feeling great. I got my second fill today. I've lost about 20 pounds so far. -
We should all get together one day for coffee and discuss. I think it would be really nice since we used the same doc. Also if you guys are interested I'm trying to start a local support group for lap band patients. I live in Burbank. Let's discuss. BTW! I get my first fill today with the doc. Laura

Hey Lisa,
I'm glad you write. I feel like I am eating so much more then I should be. The first 2 weeks were great, wasn't eating much although wasn't losing much either. Now I feel like I can eat whatever. I usually have to stop myself. I get my first fill this Friday, I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I'm only down about 10 pounds total from the day of op. What about you?

I was banded on Nov 4th and was eating soft food after day 7. I felt weird about it and scared but I am great, don't feel anything at all. At first I was questioning my DR. approach, but I guess he knows what he is doing. -
Hi Lisa, I feel so much better, I still have ab pains even a week after surgery. But overall everything is well. I'm excited too, I'm down 7 pounds so far.
The hardest part for me is laughing, it's kind of funny but if you laugh hard it hurts.

Hi Luluc, I have a quick question for you. I saw that your starting weight was 200. Was that your original starting weight, the reason for my question is that I only weight 190 and got the lapband this week. Athough I'm excited I'm nervious too, thinking that my weight didn't warrant the surgery. Did you feel the same way? -

Hi Lisa, I'm Laura I live in Burbank and I'm 32 single no kids like you. I had my surgery Tuesday, so far so good. I just have abdomenal pain right now. It hurts to take a deep breath, but hopefully the pain will lessen. Overall I'm doing well I have walking an hour after the surgery. Laura
